In other news, I am working on a bunch of stories, and hopefully actually publishing something again will force me to finish them. I have three stories (Ice Cream Sale, A Breezy Topic of Conversation, and No One Will Notice) which are within a couple thousand words of being completed, and my goal is to kick all of them out by the end of the week so I can get The Best done before it gets Jossed hardcore; I really like the idea behind it and would hate to leave it unfinished.
After that, Shotgun Wedding, I think, may be the next focus of my attention, though I can't promise that will be done before a few shorter stories that I've got in the works. I do have most of it in first draft form; the problem is, as it turns out, writing a long comedy story is quite hard, as while absolutely everything doesn't have to be funny, every chapter needs to be funny and build towards the next; presently, the story is short on that in several intermediate chapters, which will likely have to be combined to make them more engaging so that it all builds up towards the proper ending.

Rosetta Stone x Daring Do OTP, an extremely long overdue TwiDash story which I've rewritten about three times now because the OC author involved in the story didn't have enough personality (and still doesn't). So long overdue, in fact, that it originally wasn't an AU story. Thanks, Daring Don't.
I apologize for my long absence from publishing stuff. I have a bunch of stuff which is half done; I just need to actually work on getting it 100%, rather than haring off after random ideas over and over again. I would say that is why nothing has gotten done... but the truth is just that I've been not focusing on getting stuff done at all. This week I'm going to try to do so, as part of a larger effort to get a lot of other stuff done as well.
Though Yoda might say, "Do, or do not. There is no try." And he's right; if I fail to do so, is because I did not "do".
I've also been working on drawing stuff. Maybe, if I can actually get good enough at it, you will see some hand-drawn covers from me. Don't hold your breath, though, given the best I can do at the moment is this:
