According to the EQD Episode Follow up, we do actually get to see Maud's cutie mark for a brief second right after she pummels the rock into oblivion and it's a shield shaped rock... I'm not sure, I haven't caught it yet

I did write something elsewhere to the effect that Maud reminds me of an idealized version of me: "preternaturally calm and unapologetically monomaniacal." Then again, how often do I get to live up to my ideals?
