What a Day! - UPDATE AUDIO BOOK! · 4:23am Mar 10th, 2014
It's been one of those last few days for that matter. But now it's spring break! And while I may sound like I'm pandering, I know I have (according to fimfic) 29 people who will see this blog post come up. If you're reading this, can I ask that you take five seconds to let me know what you're doing for spring break, and why you read these (boredom is a totally acceptable answer)?
Anyways, back to the topic at hoof. Friday was a day to remember. It began with me achieving a lifelong goal of mine: walking through a pair of shoes. I've always wanted to do this since I was young (having parents that loved their firstborn enough to always make sure he had nice shoes). Well, I found out when the blowing snow and wet roads allowed the water to soak through the hole in the bottom of my shoes and utterly soak my sock. Cheers! Also, I broke my spree of ace scores on my air force fitness assessments (got a 99.2). I blame this on being really sick that morning (and potential blue falcon work on the pushup count). Following this, I found out I failed my first modern physics test, and my music tech professor told me I needed to completely re-do my last project. I think that sums the bad news though. As an optimist I never could stand it. Good news is, both of those classes are electives, and not a very big deal. On the up side, I finished a large project for my power systems design class and turned that in, got to see my folks who bought me a nice lunch, and then spring break started.
Then it got good. I'd promised my girlfriend that I'd go skiing at least once with her before I got shipped off for duty, and today was that day. Her whole family is one flavor or another of extreme skier, so she dug out her snowboard in order for me to keep up with her. I still got left in the powder, but it was a blast. Ran my second ever (and third and fourth) black diamond, first time skiing through the trees, and first time catching some air. Then...I got to hold her in the backseat all the way home. She's cute alright-and I found out she snores! :D
Work on the graphic novel version of 'It's Not You They Fear' is progressing, as well as a three-brony team can go. Much re-write, such edits, so fanfic, just wow. And on a closing note, don't ever be afraid to say 'hi'. I check this blog and site about as often as my email, which is to say about twenty times a day. Hope you all have a darn good one.

And as if this was not enough, Plunder Steed on youtube started an audiobook recording of 'In Time, This Too Shall Pass', check it out here!
Been awhile since I stopped by.. I'm going to have to change that if you're around so often. Always cool to have another person to chat with when things are slow.
Anyway; spring break? What's that? I'll be busy throwing newspapers every night, and editing ponywords all day. Pretty much the normal day-to-day for me, in that case. Other than possibly having to avoid more idiots on the roads when I'm throwing, and getting pulled over to see what I'm doing more; I doubt things will change much.
And if I remember correctly, I was pointed the direction of this account/one of the stories from a link on the Military Bronies FB. Which I proceeded to laugh extremely hard at, for much longer than it really warranted. But I intend to (someday when time decides to work correctly) give all the fics on your guys' account a read.
Other than that; Hope your 'Spring Break' turns out great, Sage. And feel free to shoot me a message if you want. I'm around a lot of the time; minus between 2300 to 0500 Mountain time. (Or so. Depending on paper size and weather.) But I'm always happy to chat.
(Sorry if this seems a bit disorganized.. Running on a few days of no sleep, with less than restful sleep prior to that.)

I sure appreciate it! i know I write slow, just just a part of life
Are you seriously out working that late? That's...geez. I guess I need to stop complaining about getting up at 0500. I'm glad my buddy Splice sent you over here, and you seem quite collected for a few days short on sleep.
Thanks for the reply, it always brightens my day to see folks here. Hope you catch some sleep!

I read this because people's lives interest me.
As for spring break, I got the great fortune of having jury duty, whoopee.
On a side note, walking through a pair of shoes is something I got to experience as well, its a great feeling. And on modern physics, that is a hard course. Taking it with chem 1 was pretty hilarious given all of the things they avoid in chem 1 are related to quantum mechanics.

You actually write, so you got a few up on me there. Because I have three stories that are in various stages of planning that I haven't ever gotten around to writing more than a couple hundred words on.
Almost every day for the past two years, I have. But I've pretty much settled into the habit of it after so long that it doesn't bother me. You get up at the time I have to be done throwing papers by on the week days. And after having this kind of 'sleep schedule' for the past few years, even before newspapers, I guess I've managed to be at least slightly coherent even then. I know I've trained myself to drive while dead tired, but I generally try not to do much typing when I get to that point.
Thanks for the hope, because I finally managed to sleep some today.
Like I said, feel free to shoot me a PM or something sometime if you want to chat.
Have a good one, Sage. Talk to you later
