So, I'm writing this based on a huge event in my life...

Winter's Bloom got featured!

Now, astute viewers may know that it actually was featured once before, in the bottom slot for about a half hour. And while that was awesome, it still felt more like a statistical anomaly more than a validation of my work.

But now that it's been up there just below "Thou Goddess" for a good half a day now, I'm totally over the moon!

It has, however, made me aware of one major, major fact: I am in desperate need of an editor. Not just a proofreader, not a friend who reads them as a favor to me, but someone who will notice things like when I talk about a character's disappearance to another character, only to have her forget all about it a few hours later, or to tell me that I really, really need to use shorter sentences. That sort of thing.

So, I'm going to go ahead and say, if you feel like you're up to the challenge, feel free to drop me a note. I will happily repay you in kind, believe me! I'm good at editing other people's works, there's just something about my ADD that makes it really hard to redo my own.

That said, I love where this rewrite is going. I'll be tweaking some things in chapter 2 for continuity's sake, but don't worry, it won't break anything going forward.
I hope you all are enjoying reading it as much as I am writing it. I already have another two chapters written (and needing the aforementioned editor), and the words have just been flowing, so expect more soon.
