The semicolon, no joke, made funny.

It was brought to my attention while fixing some of the errors of Horse Feathers that I really should use semicolons more; so I Googled for a how to since my English teachers were overworked hacks that never actually explained that bit of punctuation...

I love using it, and have no knowledge of the grammar behind it; I just do it when it looks kinda good.

Well, looks like your google-fu is stronger than mine.
I found a few minor hints, but nothing useable. That on the other hand, is something both amusing and educational, and hence ideal.

Honestly, I copied the chapters into Microsoft Word, used spell+grammer check, and tried to figure out why each piece was underlined. Hence I didn't really think any of my advice on Semicolons was really valid. Having seen that, I now actually understand what they are any why to use them.
