MLC Update · 6:11pm Mar 2nd, 2014
OK, first bit of news:
My Little Castlevania II: Cradle of Ruin is being written now as we speak. I'm knee-deep in Act I right now, and once I iron out the kinks in Acts II and III, we'll be totally gold. I think you guys are gonna love some of the changes for this one.
Namely, that the first MLC was largely cerebral. Nearly every monster the characters faced was some kind of puzzle for the heroes to figure out -- Twilight having to outsmart Marble for example. This time around, since Rainbow Dash is the main focus, there will be loads more action. The difference between MLC1 and MLC2 is as noticeable as the difference between Alien and Aliens. So expect plenty of awesomeness!
As to when it'll be released, I'm looking at releasing the first chapter here around late June. I can't figure an exact date at this point, but I like to think it'll give me enough time to write a full Act I as well as a head start on Act II. If all goes according to plan, MLC2 can be completely finished around early winter 2014. (God, who knew fanfic writing could be so demanding?!)
