Luna Contest: Another Deadline Extension

Folks:

What with the unexpected outage here yesterday and my own unexpected outage here today--I doubt I'll be anywhere near the internet again till tomorrow afternoon--I'm gonna reduce the ambient stress level just a bit and extend the contest deadline to Sunday, March 2nd at midnight Eastern time. Hope this makes things a little easier on everyone 'cause it'll sure make things easier on me!

EDIT BEFORE RUSHING OFF: Eight stories in the hopper as of the original story deadline, but I'm expecting a couple others with the extension. I'll see folks figuratively tomorrow!

Wha-ha, I'm back in the running!

I think I wrote some 1500 words over the last 24 hours, you know that? That puts me nicely over the limit. It's just now I've got to get them not so much spellchecked as sanitychecked.

I think it would be accurate to say that I am literally giddy right now.

A clarifying question:

"Midnight Sunday" is technically ambiguous. You could be referring to midnight Saturday-Sunday, or midnight Sunday-Monday. So, would submissions dated 11pm est Sunday be considered "in time"?

Your comment about about not being anywhere around internet makes me think you meant Sunday-Monday, but that's why internet messages are timestamped.

Augie also updated the original post, which now says:

4) Deadlines: Entries should be completed by the end of the day Sunday, March 2nd, 2014--midnight Eastern time, it'll be now. That's three-and-a-half months from start to finish.

So it sure looks like midnight Sunday-Monday from here.
