New Cover Illustrations

Thus far, I've been pulling images off of Derpibooru in order to have cover illustrations for my stories.

There's a lot wrong with this - the pictures don't necessarily go with the story, the artist's permission is usually not obtained, and it's not something I should do if I want to be a professional.

As such, I've reached out to my friend 1Trick (1trickpone.tumblr.com) to do a series of illustrations for my stories, starting with Gifts Ungiven. The new image depicts Dress Me Daisy in her pre-Rarity-ing state.

All future works will have 1Trick's illustrations as well, and he's available for commission if anyone else wants a very fancy illustration for their story.

Have you considered posting your stories to Art for Fanfiction? There are plenty of artists there who would love to make covers for your stories, and some of them will do it for free.

That's a good idea, but I think I'll stick with 1Trick for now. He seems to really enjoy doing the art, and I'm really wowed by what he comes up with.
