DreamWings

A girl so bad at writing she took to learning how to write at University. How'm I doing so far? Yeah, I know-- I'm working on it, I promise.

    DreamWings Review-Sing of 'The Crystalling'

Hello, and welcome to my review of ‘The Crystalling’, the premiere of Season Six of MLP: FIM. Now, there are a few things I assume about the people reading this blog post: 1. You’ve an interest in the show, just as I do, and are diehard fans perhaps, which I am not; 2. You may have read some of my early fanfiction, in which case I apologise, I have tried to improve my writing since then; 3. You

S5, EP21, The Scare Master (Excuse me, sir, we appear to have a leaky pipe over here).

So, yeah, the Nightmare Night special was leaked.

Did I watch it you ask? Or did I wait for Halloween to roll around and watch it then?

No... I watched it now. I have no strength inside of me to wait until Halloween-- and I've never really celebrated Halloween properly anyway (especially in recent years when I became a recluse on that night).

Pony Profiles Is Released (I know, right? Who knew?

So, it's out... The stupidest, silliest thing I've ever worked on is here... and on YouTube as well.

    Yeah, have fun with that.

In all seriousness though, it was a lot of fun and I hope that shows in the videos. Thanks for listening, and thanks for being there on what feels like the longest journey ever (and if anyone finds my sanity, please point me in the right direction. Thanks).

The Start of Something New (not HSM, unless that tempts you here-- in which case, it still isn't HSM)

So, tomorrow Pony Profiles, a character review channel on YouTube goes live... and let me tell you, I'm terrified.

    Looking Back Through Time

So, I experienced a new kind of experience today. I looked through a lot of my oldest blog posts (circa, 2012) and realised... I have a strange voice... you know, as a writer.

I'm not particularly good at sentiment (which I already knew, as this is a regular occurrence) and I like to cover up any attempt at it with jokes, particularly jokes targeting myself.

Is that a Pastiche I see? But it's been like... forever... · 11:00pm Feb 20th, 2014

So, hi everyone. Sorry if I've seemed a bit distant recently, and especially sorry it took me so long to finish the next chapter of Alicorn-- it's been a year or so... that really is appalling, and I feel bad for doing so. Anyway, hope you enjoy that. Also, hope you enjoy this pastiche. It's been a while since I've done one, so I feel a little bit rusty, but hopefully it's good for you.

PASTICHE OF 'DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN?' FROM FROZEN (this works within the premise of Pinkie Price, though excuse the lameness of my twist. It's even appalling by my standards):

Cheese:
Pinkie?
(Knocking: Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock)
Do you wanna plan a party?
Or see what goof off’s we can do?
Please don’t try and leave the town.
I feel I’ve let you down.
Just come on through.

We can plan this together.
Make it epic and cool.
Together we shall soon see.
Do you wanna plan this party?
It’ll be an epic Pinkie party.

RD: I don’t think it’s working.

Cheese: Pinkie and Cheese.

RD:
(Knocking)
Come on and plan my party?
There’s so much for you to do.
I think it’s time you came out now.
The party cannon’s becoming
Better friends than you-
(Not in that way, aight?)
It just gets a little lonely
Without the epic party planner.
It’s always going to be you, Pinkie Pie-
(Tic-Tock, Tic-Tock, Tic-Tock, Act-like-a-clock, Tic-Tock)
(Orchestral)

Pinkie:
(Coming out)
Dashie?
I know you’re only trying to help.
Have you really missed me not being there?
They say "mind your pride", and I can’t do this
without admitting what Cheese would be able to give to you.
He can plan an awesome party
And I can too.
But it’s time that I have to leave.
I just can’t plan your party...

SPOKEN:
RD: Why?
Pinkie: Because I’m not really Pinkie Pie. I’m surprised nopony noticed how much I’ve changed. The real Pinkie has been inside the mirror pool this entire time.
RD: Can you still plan parties?
Pinkie: Meh, I’m aight.
RD: You’ll do.

SUNG:
Cheese/RD/Pinkie: We can plan an epic party. Hey, is that meant to be a key...?

I feel like one day I should do reviews of the program itself, as I'm more of a child than an adult and cartoons are just, well, my thing, but I'm also overly joyous happy and loving of everything. I can't promise that there'd be much beyond adoring what's going on, and not understanding any links to anything beyond Disney.

So, what would you like out of these blogs? I used to like treating these as separate from my stories. I've done challenges, pastiches, scripts-- and a whole host of other kerfuffle over the time, and I'd do it again. But what would you want, and what would you actually like to read. I can be philosophical (strangely, funnily and sarcastically anyway), I can give advice (see one of my non-used groups), and I can (at least try) to be funny and entertaining. Would you want more videos of me singing along with these pastiches (which I love to do, but don't expect great quality). Anything you want, I'll try my best to do.

Visual (as in video), or doodles, or (hey, I don't know) writing would be fine.

Take a pick...

But let's face it, how many people read these things? Barely anyone, right? Oh well, one person equals one friend, and that's good enough for my pride.... (Why did I just turn into Pinkie? I'm.... Fluttershy).

Leave a comment after the break, and thanks for reading.

1863222 Any writing in particular?

1863262 You're challenge is me writing more romance.... Well, it's certainly a challenge, considering my mind isn't wired that way. Then again, I love a challenge.

Pick an unlikely colt and an unlikely mare and I'll give it a go (I'll try to make it funny too). I'm ready to try this thing :trollestia:.
