Anyone with a Galaxy S4? · 3:36pm Feb 16th, 2014
I'm already liking my new phone a hundred times better than my old iphone. Apple really pissed me off with how much they locked everything down and wanted you to purchase every little thing for the thing.
NO!
I can MAKE my own stuff, and have fun doing it.
Since I didn't write music last night, I made my primary ring tone for my new phone instead.
If you're familiar with Metal Gear and Nanoha... You'll love this.
I'm going to enjoy this phone a lot more than the old one. PLUS! I can replace the battery when it goes bad!
Sayonora Apple, you make the family look bad. AJ would be disappoint.
Finally! Apple sucks man, glad you understood this =P

Oh I could never stand apple. They're WAY too proud of their stuff and like to lock everything down tighter than Alcatraz so they and squeeze microtransactions out of you. Only reason I had an iphone was because I got it for free on my last upgrade from a Razor. (My father pays for the account. I've been on that thing since forever and I don't make much use of the phone for chatting anyway.)
I've got a Galaxy S4 myself. Really quite a wonderful phone, though I've yet to really start playing with it.
I replaced my own iPhone battery. They don't make it easy, though.

When you pretty much require a technician's skill level to change the battery, forget it. I've seen the tutorial videos. They don't WANT you to change the battery. They want you to send the phone in so they can reject it and sell you a new one. (Horror stories from a few people on that part.)
Standardized parts for the win!
I never had an Apple product...
No, I dont mean your apples, those are delicious. I mean those overpriced electronic devices that no one likes.
...and Ill probably never buy myself one ever.
I have had my Galaxy S1 for the last few years now and its perfect. The OS has its shortcommings but I could always use it for whatever I needed to.
Heck, I even managed to improve the performence to a point where I can run it for about a week without loading. Whenever I tell that to my friends they think Im joking.
However, the age starts to show. I takes long time to reboot (especially after a freez, which happens often) and has generally suffered a massive slowdown in processing power. So ill probably have to upgrade soon.
Would you recommend the S4?
I've had an S4 since before it was launched in the US least year (managed to get one of the unlocked international one's early, as I travel somewhat often) and it's the best phone ive ever had. I was a bit sad added they released the Google play version but what ever.
If you attend cons or stuff like that, those kind of things eat battery like no tomorrow. It doesn't matter what they claim, no phone can last a full day on a single charge with regular usage, iPhone included. All iPhone users carry their charger with them and by 3 or 4 pm they are looking for a free power slot to sit next to for an hour of charging, at witch point I smugly change my battery and I'm back to 100% in seconds, then tell them I'll meet them after the next conference.
I moved to the H.T.C. One, when I got fed up of apple. Best phone that I have ever had.

I haven't had it long enough to really delve into it deeply, but it's already looking scores better than an iphone just because I can plug it into my USB and I actually have a FILE STRUCTURE I can access from my computer.
That means I can store songs or movies quick and easy. Yay. Though I generally don't have much in the way of movies on my PC.
Still, awesome. Battery life seems a bit short though. I don't know if that's due to app activity, or I drew the short straw on batteries. (I won't blame the phone company or the retailer for a bad battery.) Since last night, it's dropped down to 88 percent. That rate seems to be about mid-life for a battery.
1840970 I have a apple laptop [macbookpro]
I have a galaxy tab 2 7.0, but would have rather had an iPad mini.
there's nothing wrong with the tab, really, but it does frustrate me on occssion. some of the lower level functionality is really kludgy.
While Apple can't be beat for music players, their phones are a bit lacking. If my old iPod was still working, I would still be using it for music. Unfortunately, I dropped it into the snow one too many times, killing the screen. But I am happy with my S3. It does everything I want it to, and while I have never used an iPhone, it beats out my iPod on everything they share except the music player.
I have an SII. Gonna root it soon.
I have an Samsung Galaxy S4 mini.
and yes i do think applejack disaproves of Apple phones.
Still rockin my S2. Buying the new model every year is a bit outside of my budget.
