Oh wow, I get back from the The Avengers, most awesome movie ever, and what is the first thing I see, this announcement. The awesome has been doubled! Well maybe not quite. It would be tough to match that movie in awesomeness, but the fact that this can even register in my post movie bliss addled brain means that it must be pretty awesome in its own right. I swear if this day gets any better I might just die from the awesome.
I'm sorely tempted to try and get involved with this in some manner or another. Back when I wrote an AU-parody review of Boast Busted on the EQD comment thread I had to I had to brainstorm up a list of key episodes and concepts as they might appear in the Lunaverse to put myself in the proper mindset, and that line of thinking has been lingering in the back of my head ever since. Most of that list got pretty thoroughly trampled by Longest Night, Longest Day, but I still just might have to dig it out and see what, if any of it, can be salvaged.
First things first though, I've got me some epilogues to read.

Though I'm not really that much of a writer I do have a tendency to prompt (and assist) world building and elaboration on certain parts of settings and critique writing, so that's about as much as I can do for the Lunaverse sorry. Needless to say I'm going to be watching this closely though.
I'm not sure I have any lunaverse fics (yet) in mind, but I will be keeping an eye out, and who knows? Inspiration may strike.

Absolutely friggin' brilliant! I've said it before and it's worth repeating: this is the best alternate FIM universe (with different Mane Six and/or Luna being the Princess) I've ever seen. The character development is done wonderfully and the original twists (Corona still being on the loose and the role of Zecora and Spike) are fantastic. I am so sorely tempted to write something set in the Lunaverse after I've finished my current story. Trouble is, I don't know what I would write. But it is just so fun and impossible to resist that I may have no choice.
