She Never Told Me She Was a Mime! · 4:38am Feb 6th, 2014
OK, now that we have that outta the way, let's move on to the February Fanfic Spotlight. Yes, it has a name now, and is officially a thing. In my heart.
Let's talk about mimes. Or more specifically, Twilight's problem with them.
They're creepy, you know? They got that white facepaint like clowns, those strange mannerisms like your creepy cousin, the monochrome clothing like goth kids. They're silent like assassins and apparently interact with objects no one else can see, like insane asylum inmates. So they're basically every pariah imaginable contained into one entertaining package.
Obviously, this poses a relative threat to proper, logical Princess Twilight. Especially when the mime in question is not a unicorn, and therefore shouldn't be able to go around interacting with invisible objects.
Enter Final Draft's Twilight and the Mime, in which Logic meets Bizarre, Science meets the Unexplainable, the River meets a unmovable Rock. It's not as deep as I'm making it sound, obviously, but you should still go read it since the story -- even in this early stage -- is actually really fun.
And that ends our second entry for the February Fanfic Spotlight. Here's last time's entry in case you missed!
Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoy all that lurve!
