Random Musing About Racial Distribution Among The Mane 6.

I know I said once that I would probably only blog about stuff related to my stories because I suck at the whole blogging thing, but I figured I'd throw this out... somewhere. At least so I have it written down somewhere if the idea becomes useful in the future. I'm sure we all noticed how in the beginning of the show there were two representatives of each of the three canon races in the Mane 6. By the end of season 3, of course, Twilight Sparkle transformed into the fourth race heretofore unrepresented by any but the three princesses of Equestria, which kind of ruined that dynamic even if she still functions mainly as a unicorn, still. In the episode "Bats," however, we also see Fluttershy transform into a bat-pony. It's only temporary, technically, but she is shown to still have a vampire fang at the end, leaving the possibility that she still has some dormant vampirism within her. So, one could say that now we have five races represented in the Mane 6: alicorn, unicorn, pegasus, bat-pony, and 2 earth ponies. I'm wondering if either Pinkie Pie or Applejack will turn into some variation of earth pony at some point, just to have some sort of equal dynamic restored. If so, I wonder what kind of pony either one would turn into. If Applejack had gone with Fluttershy, I would guess she'd get turned into a Breezie, temporarily, given the G3 Breezies were partners with the earth ponies in helping plants grow, and it would be cute to have a return of Appletini. Pinkie could just be a secret draconequus, of course. One of them could also turn into a sea-pony for whatever reason somewhere down the line. On the other hand, maybe they'll keep it at 2 earth ponies due to affirmative action, I dunno.
