I have been wondering though, what is happening with the original Twilight? Apparently, she and Dusk Shine have swapped universes and both are now just one of many alternate Dusks/Twilights in their new (hopefully temporary) home, so what's happening with her and all those alternate Dusk Shines?
Meanwhile, in a universe far, far removed from our own . . .

The idea is that time has gone wibbly wobbly. They both got switched to the other's universe... but also were splintered into multiple pieces. Basically, what little remains of the true Twilight is in Dusk's universe but they need to gather up ALL the Twilights to pull her back together.
