So I promised "Getting Attention" first, and that is coming along, when I'm not stuck on Zecora's dialogue, how to transition a scene, or how to write something other than dialogue when I have four main characters; but lately "Matrimony" has been stuck in my head instead, so I've been slamming that one out. I went ahead and uploaded the prelude chapter, which quickly became my poorest-rated story yet. Yeah, worse than the peaches thing.
I suspect that may have something to do with a Mature/Sex tag where the first chapter is Teen-rated and only briefly mentions sex. Or possibly the implied TwiShiny (I have yet to think of a good portmanteau for that ship - not that it's one I read often, but when it does come up, I have nothing to call it).
This is part of my problem. I started this intending it to be a series of one-shot clop scenes. Then I wrote a 1500-word clopless intro chapter featuring a pissed-off Chrysalis. And then I started on Chapter Two intending it to be the first of the one-shot clop scenes.
Chrysalis finally made Shining aware of her presence at about the 1,000-word mark, and I'm not sure I'll be including any of the promised fetish material in this one, either. That might have to wait for when Cadance shows up.
But don't worry. I'm also going to do a clop-shot alternate ending to "Getting Attention" that has futa. It's just going to be the alternate conclusion to a Teen comedy fic that's looking to be about 6-7,000 words at this point, and have a lengthy comfort scene between the sexings.
There's also "Princess and Mistress" in the works, but that has Twilight and Fluttershy talking about feelings for at least as much of the fic as they're banging.
Sorry, but it looks like reading my clopfics is going to require some investment.
