Welp, that's just... everything fucked, I guess · 2:27pm Sep 11th, 2019
So back around June 20, I wrecked my car.
Then back on August 28, the tires on my wife's car got torn up hitting something on the road, and we wound up needing all new tires.
Then yesterday it was 100 degrees out and we discovered there was an oil leak. Unfortunately we found that out because the engine blew on the highway and we checked to find a bone-dry dipstick.
So we don't have any car now. Which is less than ideal.
I know what it's like to be without a car.
A cracked head means expensive repair or no car for a while.
Before my car I managed quite well with a bicycle trailer. It was certified to carry children and I actually managed a computer fixit callout service with it as I was too afraid to drive for many years.
Night be worth a look if you really need to carry stuff and public transport is no good ?

I've only had a steady line of cars since 2011. Up till then, I had one intermittently over the decades, but mostly I walked or took the bus. I hate the bus.
You'll get back on your feet. It just takes time.
