Well, now it's been, what, five days since a wild TheVulpineHero1 appeared on site, and I am pretty settled in with regards to posting my old stuff. However, uncharacteristically, I've been planning something. I've tried to provide a steady-ish trickle of updates since I joined the site (not hard, since I had stuff in reserves), but now the time has come to begin fabricating more evidence, as well as fanfiction. But, in between making new and hopefully spiffy things to spam all those people who were kind enough to watch me, I've gotta get some fic reading done, to refine ideas of the characters, learn what's what, and just generally not suck when it comes to commenting, which I usually do.
So, my plan was to find some highly recommended stories, put them on my read later list, and then when that list reached twenty stories, to take a day off from writing and looking at notifications, and instead have a huge reading, commenting and faving binge. During that day, I'd post some itty-bitty experimental pieces (which predicatably, I hate) to keep up dat steady trickle, yo. As you can probably guess, my Read Later list is now at 20, and the day has come forth for my binge.
Except...There's been such a buzz of activity over the past few days, and I feel like the community's made a real effort in making a noob like me feel welcome. Captain McAwesome, aka Donny's Boy, gave me a recommendation and really helped me make a few friends, and then there've been the steady trickle of people who saw me over younder at FF net and dropped in to say hi, and then there's been the truly ridiculous amount of faves given to me (seriously, you're all lunatics. I'm not that good at this writing dealy, honest). Usually, this wouldn't bother me, because I'm a jerk.
However, then Omgzors, in a gesture of pure awesome, did some wizardry to make a picture of Octavia wearing Vinyl's bamf glasses, and was kind enough to let me use it for the cover art to Music Makes The Heart, and I love it. That told me, right there and then, that I wasn't taking a day off today, because I wanted to give the community a little something back for being so kind and going so far out of its way to help me out. Sadly, there's not actually a whole lot I can do.
So. Update all the fics? Update aaaaaaaall the fics. After a nap, of course.

Your update schedule, thus far, has been really fast, for what it's worth. So if you wanna take a day off, I'd say you've more than earned it.

It's been less an update schedule and more like a reupload for easy credit and profit schedule. Besides, beats sitting on my butt all day.
