Was Spitfire out of character or...? (Episode 10 spoilers) · 11:22pm Jan 18th, 2014
Was the entire Wonderbolts team acting in concert to pull off a truly cool test of RD’s character? My best guess is the second; I just can’t see her actually acting the way she did throughout the episode otherwise.
Also, Soarin getting 'hurt' while eyeballing the mares was a very nice touch!
i Am trying to figure out which of your stories you are talking about

The newest episode...
Yes they turned her from Military leader to the antagonist of a sport based movie.
several other notes as well
The Wonder bolts are portrayed as a military like organization one of the examples being soarins uniform at the royal wedding and not to mention the personal at the academy. If they were part of the military I don't it would be fair or allowed for them to participate in the Games. (on a side note I call bullshit that the mane six did not get in trouble for trespassing on a military base)
The wonderbolts consist of at least five to six members, meaning that they would have backups if one of them were injured.
Bulk Biceps was shown having trouble flying when in hurricane fluttershy and in wonderbolt academy he had no problems, this leads to my theory that he flies on sure willpower and the more inspired he is the easier it gets.
I remember somebody stating a theory that trixie is Luna's student and the ponyville incident was a way to test twilight, this could prove the case that Celestia and Luna are preparing the Mane six for somethings big.

Or you know continuity error on Bulk and other glaring consistencies (it happens, even it a tv show)
However I do agree on the whole Wonder Blots representing clousdale. Foul play anyone?
Remember Wonderbolt Academy? Yeah this entire episode is almost a callback to it.
uhhh.... twins? Thats a possibility, I mean we have two different Whooves.
or your theory also makes sense.
