Can we just talk about this episode?
OH MY SWEET CELESTIA THAT WAS THE BEST EPISODE EVER
WAS. NOT. EXPECTING. THE AWESOMENESS.
Secondly, SSSSOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNN'!!!!! *shakes hoof in the air*.... I had to watch that scene several times over where he fell and Rainbow caught him. It was like the scene from Broken Feathers but backwards lol.
Also, Wonderbolts? Jerks. Yeah, at the end they managed to redeem themselves fairly well, but still. Jerks. And did anyone else expect Soarin's voice to be that... that... bland? I never really imagined it like that before, which sucks. Also, Fleetfoot, go bury your head in the earth and think about what you tried to do corrupting Rainbow Dash like that.
At least the Wonderbolts made an appearance though, and ACTUALLY REFERENCE HER GOING TO THE ACADEMY, SINCE, YOU KNOW, THAT HASN"T BEEN MENTIONED SINCE THE FREAKIN' EPISODE! GAH!
Wasn't Bicep's name Snowflake at one point? Hurricane Fluttershy episode? I wonder why they changed it... Oh well, at least his character was well made, got a few laughs out of him.
On a more important note: DERPY!!!!!! WE SAW DERPY EVERYONE!!!! GAHH!!! 
EVERYONE THOUGHT SHE WAS GONE FROM THE SEASON BUT SHE'S BACK! REJOICE!
I'm happy now that we got those suspicions of Twilight being taller than everypony out of the way. Well, she's at least taller than Rainbow Dash.
As for the ending... so many feels. I loved the support RD's friends gave her when she finally overcame her issues. I noticed for awhile there we were getting 'themed' episodes. One around Pinkie, another around Rarity, then Applejack, so it was a matter of time before it came to Rainbow Dash, and, of course, it was 20% cooler than the others. I loved Spitfire's gesture to Rainbow Dash by giving her her pendent, too, even though Rainbow Dash presumably already had one, unless they took those back at the Academy.
So overall for the episode? It doesn't need a rating. It's already my new favorite episode. Though, I still hope that we get an episode that explains her dealings with her parents and her foalhood in Cloudsdale, that would be nice.
Soarin' falling and being caught by Rainbow Dash while he has a broken wing... still can't believe that happened... talk about role reversal... grumble grumble grumble.
Anyway, tell me what you guys thought of the episode!
ps. WHAT HAPPENED WITH THAT DAMN BOX FROM THE SEASON OPENER?!?!? I MEAN SERIOUSLY! No word of it has been mentioned AT ALL. We don't even have any ideas what the freaking keys could be! Unless... unless the keys are the things they've been collecting so far at the ends of the episodes... The ones that stand out the most is the rainbow yarn that Rarity got at the end of 'Rarity Takes Manehatten' and now the pendent that Spitfire gave Rainbow, because in the final frames that thing flashes rainbow... huh... I must ponder this further... To the thinking chamber!

Soarin, bland, and no Pie jokes! yay! I thought he was "meh" in this chapter, phantom woud of been better.
and Ironically shade hurts his wing in my story... so I was like "waaaaaaittt..."
wonderbolts need RD to be more respectable, otherwise they are jerks...

ya know, Twilight is no longer student but teacher, so now I'm assuming the mane six will teach their elements to other ponies, graduating from student to teachers of friendship.
1732135 I didn't make that connection about the whole 'teaching your Element to others' thing... this further intrigues me... Oh well, at least we know it's a full 26 episode season, and season 5 has been confirmed. So we've got awhile to allow everything to be explained. Long live the ponies!
Aweeesome episode! And I expect broken feathers FN to be finished before you leave! Or rainbow will never forgive you ;P Also I read a lot of soarindash fics so hearing him talk didn't seem to do him justice... I almost squeed at the episode though that wouldn't be very becoming with my dad sitting next to me.
Also have you ever had a dream you were a pony? I did the other day and I know it was an awesome adventure though I can only remember being soarin' on a train to wonderbolts HQ and staring out a window at the mane 6 excluding rainbow then she put her hoof on my shoulder and asked me if I would miss them. Then I sighed, looked into her face, and smiled right before waking up. I think that it was my mind sort of making an epilogue to mirror blue and I was soarin' just achieving his dreams with rainbow already being a wonderbolt and his mentor
Wonder where the dream would have taken me had I not woken up.
1732681 Unfortunately I've noticed that I don't seem to dream lately. It's been a long while now since I've had one, that I could remember, at least. And as for finished before I leave: Yeah, most definitely. But incase of some fluke and I don't, I'll post everything I have before I go. Notes and all.

Just wondering if its normal for bronies to dream in ponies... or accidentally call their friend a colt... or have to think things over 3 times to remove ponies from a small paragraph... oh celestia these last 8 months in this community have been great but what is it all coming to?! I find myself more excited for the next episode of mlp than seeing my best friend and I now am consumed with reading fanfics much like but greater than my normal addiction to books... and now DREAMING and THINKING in equestrian terms?! Oh well its worth it
1732783 Yeah, it's worth it. Quickly after becoming a Brony I learned to put a filter on what I say and write in school. Several times before I became an 'open' Brony, I nearly blew my cover.
1732806 in a way I am an open brony, but my friend has expressed his thoughts on the matter to me openly saying "all bronies but you should just drop dead!" Yeah now when I do something brony related its to annoy him, plus not everyone knows I'm a brony mostly only my friends, and so letting it slip in public was a little embarrassing, though no one noticed ^_^ also to make it more iironic most of the people we sit with are bronies though he doesn't realize it. Lol and I discovered a girl I had a crush on is a brony as well and crap my mom just saw all the pony emoticons next to my comment I'm screwed lol and not to mention I tensed when she walked by which made her stop and stare for a while to make sure I wasn't doing something innappropriate. *sigh* well lets hope she doesnt ask questions
I feel like RD having a fangasm... partly due to being unable to talk brony to brony in, like, ever!!
