    Pretence Hiatus

    Hello folks.

You've probably noticed that there haven't been any new chapters for a while. I'd like to say I have some sort of reason for it like life-altering things or other somesuch, but the truth is that my drive to write has reached an all time low. At least for this story.

    Someone in need of help

    Hey guys.

This isn't a Pretence update, you can find a box of that on my profile. This is about someone I know who's in a pinch and needs a bit of help. Long story short, health problems that has morphed into financial struggles.
I don't ask any of you to go and donate directly, simply share if you can, and donate if you want. Below is a link to his blog explaining it in more detail.

Walking on Clouds - The fate of my first shipping story · 11:19pm Jan 17th, 2014

It is with heavy heart that I bear these news to you.

I have, to be completely honest, grown bored with "Walking on Clouds." In August, I put it on hiatus with the intent of writing The Fate of Clover and then returning to it, but I must confess to that hiatus being born partly from my lack of enthusiasm with the story.

You see, writing Walking on Clouds was never really my own idea. A friend of mine pressured me into going outside my comfort zone and writing something I had never done before. In this case it was a Romance story. I cooked up an idea as quickly as I could and started writing, thinking it a fun challenge in the beginning. And... it was fun, but it just didn't stay fun as other ideas, that were entirely of my own creation, came forth.

With that said, I have two options for you, the readers. One thing is set in stone, however. I will no longer continue Walking on Clouds. I will not hurt the potential of this story by forcing it finished eventhough I don't want to write it.

As such, I can give anyone reading this the chance to finish it if they so desire. Give me a PM and I will see if there is anyone I feel is up to the task, and I'll then give tell them what I had planned for the story.
Or
I can write up a chapter or two, detailing my plans for the rest of the story as well as a few key scenes to the coming conflict(s) and how they are solved.

Depending on the response I get, either of the two will be chosen.

Again, I am sorry, but I have no enthusiasm left for this story. My apologies.

Does this mean there's hope for a sequel of Magical Callgirl?

Not very likely. I wanted to try clop, I tried clop.

I didn't put a lot of thought into the story, and I don't see what I could do for a sequel other than "Hey, they're together and has more sex!"

Wouldn't be anything interesting to write about.

Well, everypony knows that Vinyl + Octavia is best ship. Maybe you could write a non-clop sequel if you're not feeling cloppy? Also, is cloppy even a word?

I have had a TaviScratch romance (pony) planned since shortly before I initially put WoC on hiatus.
