The title! Oh god, what do I call the title?! · 12:53pm May 9th, 2012
Greetings! I know none of you read this, but I'm going to post it anyways!
In my previous blog entry I announced that I was going to attempt to get my story, Crescent Eclipse, on to EquestriaDaily. This has not changed. What has changed however, is that it is no longer the only thing I am trying to get on the fabled hub of all bronydom. As it stands now, I have submitted both Crescent Eclipse, and my other story, A Life Worth Living, for featuring on the sacred site. Unsurprising, I have received a rather...... disappointing response. But! I shall not be deterred!
As of this moment both stories are currently bogged down in the (surprising large amount of) internet fanfiction bureaucracy. Reveiw, submit, revise, re-submit, edit, etc., etc., and it goes on and on. See as how it is nearly summer, the amount of new fanfiction the the web as increased as well, which takes more time away from potential reveiwers or pre-readers, which means that everything now takes even more time. And so I have had most of the fate of my works out of my hands for a while now and all I can do is hope and improve. But there is one good thing to come out of all of this: I now have more free time. And how exactly will I, a red-blood, free-spirited, teenage male spend this new found free time? By taking up a hobby? Playing sports? Curing cancer? Becoming a productive member of society? Heh, no silly. By writing about ponies!
That said I have decided to finally begin writing a story that I thought months ago. I haven't decided what I'll call it yet, but the current working title is The G.E.A.: Victor in Equestria. Basic synopsis is young special agent travels through time and space, fighting injustice and imbalance in the Multiverse wherever he sees it. It's a bit generic, I know, but I have plans. Glorious, delicious, plans. But honestly, now that so much time has passed between its inception and my actual writing of it, I can't help but think it looks sort of like a mash-up of Harpflank and Sweets, and Omnius' Travels: Equestria. Oh well. Wish me luck!
