New Story - Gatekeeper: Prince of Darkness

Hey there everybrony! It's been a while since I made one of these, huh? Now I know what you are all thinking and don't worry, I'm still working on The Guardian (K)Night, and the revisions are coming in slow and steady. But that's not what this is all about. No, if you're seeing this, it's because I want you to know that I've made yet another story, titled Gatekeeper: Prince of Darkness. It a

Shot in the dark, and a quick cry for help.

Hey there everybrony, InfiniteBrony here. You know, that one guy with a popular story who's update rate is slower than the average lifespan of a small rodent. As you all should probably know by now, my story The Guardian (K)Night is currently on hiatus for review and rewrites. However, it seems I've hit a little snag lately.

Art, Exiles, and Guardians in the Night.

Hey there everybrony! It's been a while.

As is no doubt obvious just by you reading this, I'm back from my self-imposed exile for the first time in three weeks. And my exile has seemed to actually serve its purpose. I'll get right to it though, because I know just what you all want to hear.

    Announcements, Apologies and New Ideas

Hey there, everyone. It's me again. It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm sorry for the wait.

I suppose I'll get straight to the point. The Guardian (K)Night. I know what you're all wondering, "When's the next chapter coming out?" The truth is, I don't know. At all.

New friends, New games, An unfortunate hiatus, and An adventure for the ages! · 6:26am Dec 17th, 2013

Well hey everybrony, guess who's back? (No, it's not the T2, he melted in a vat of molten steel, remember?) It's me!

And it is indeed good to be back. In case you hadn't noticed, (which you probably didn't because lets be honest, how often do any of you actually come and check my user page?) I've been gone for a while. Five weeks to be exact, and I only just got back a couple of days ago. I've been rather busy, and have hardly had time for anything, not even pony. A lot seems to have happened while I was gone, (I must say I rather like the new look of the website, Knighty) and spent a lot of this time just catching up. I should be done pretty soon, and then I can get back to providing you all with pony goodness! While I've got you here though, I have a few announcements to make.

One of the reasons I've been gone for so long is because a good friend of mine was going through a bit trouble IRL, and was helping him out. It wasn't all for nothing though, as I've successfully increased the population of the Herd by +1! Say hello to my friend, AbraxasStar!

I'd also like to make an announcement that may seem familiar to those of you who have been following me for quite a while now. A few weeks ago, I started my own amateur game development studio, Evertale Studios. I am currently hard at work on the first project to be released by the studio, and while progress is excruciatingly slow, it is steady. This game (currently under the working title of Project: Genesis) will be an RPG reminiscent of the 16-Bit era, and take inspiration from all the great classics such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy. As of now, there are only two members of Evertale Studios, but positions are open. So if you or someone you know are any good at Pixel art, making chip-tunes, spriteing, or just have something you might like to contribute, please contact me.

I know you are all foaming at the mouth by now for anything Guardian (K)Night related, and I'll tell you know that you can put your minds at ease. At the time of writing, chapter 10 is finished and uploaded, I'm just waiting to see whether of not my editors will get back to me about it before I hit the publish button, so expect the next chapter soon! Although, unfortunately, that's not all I have to say about it. Not only is the next chapter just an interlude, and therefore rather pitifully small by my standards of writing, after its time of publishing, The Guardian (K)Night will be going on Hiatus. Now, now, as someone famous once said, "Don't Panic". This hiatus is only temporary, and will last only long enough for me to get it "Professionally" reviewed and revise it accordingly.

As a final note, I'd like to make one last announcement, one that I am exceedingly excited about. When I first joined this fandom all those years ago, I was amazed and astonished by what I found here. All the talent, the ideas, the people, simply everything was almost too good to be true, yet somehow it was. I can remember the early days, sitting in front of my old crappy Windows XP desktop, with a blanket wrapped around my shoulders to keep out the early morning chill, eagerly checking Equestria Daily to see what sort of update the day might bring, hoping that maybe the latest chapter of Lacuna or CRISIS: Equestria was out. Occasionally, I'd even check out a new story, like The Age of Wings and Steel, or Anthropology. But what I remember most of all, more than anything else, where the adventure stories.

Tales of The Winter Magic Academy and The Steadfast Sky, Off The Edge of The Map and Apotheosis, I spent more hours than I can count simply stay up late at night, starring at tiny text on my computer screen because of stories like those. They stirred something inside of me, roused something deep in my blood and bones. They made me want to go on my own adventure, see what lay beyond my own horizon and where my own feet would take me on my path to destiny, to pen my own grand epic.

So I did. Or, at least, I tried to. Needless to say, it didn't go over very well, and I was rather deterred. But I wouldn't let it stop me completely. I'd already created my own cast of colorful characters, my own grand seeping tale of wonder and adventure, I'd already created my very own world, and I'd fallen in love with it. But the thing was, I wasn't ready for it. It was too big, too great, to epic in scale for a humble little amateur like me. So I vowed that I would get better, that I'd keep writing and writing, until I was as good as I could be, until I was good enough to write a successful story, and then one day I would return to finally finish what I had started.

And now that day is finally here. I've brought all my skills to bear, I written, deleted, re-written, deleted and re-written again, until I finally had something that could be worthy of my dream. I can finally write "Crescent Eclipse".

(And now, a teaser. Please note, this is just the Cover Art and Short Description)

They say that the end of one thing, is only the beginning of something else. When one chapter of your life ends, another begins. Who knows what will be written there?

Welcome back... Again. Good to know you're still alive! And I can wait for more of Guardian!

Also, good job in adding more to the herd. You have done your job well. :pinkiecrazy:

Glad to see you back, and I hope everything works out well for you.

Crescent Eclipse... I look forward to it.
Also, Welcome Back!

Welcome back. The game sounds interesting and I'm sad that I don't really have much to offer apart from my voice, so if you ever need a male voice actor send me message.
