So, I have 2 followers and 54 CAJH favoriters.
Woohoo! Seriously, I knew writing a Torchwood/MLP crossover wouldn't have gotten me many views, but I actually have some. Hooray!
So, I am delaying CAJH for about a couple weeks because of school (finals and such), unfortunately. Sorry to all fifty-something people who count on me to write the only fanfic where Applejack is a terrorist.

About five minutes, actually. I read a bunch of fanfics over the summer, and I noticed how 97% of Applejacks in stories are basically the same. The ones on that first list are the 3% that are different. (Rough estimate)

How's it depressing? Just Applejack is a stable character, in the vast multiverse of fanfics, Applejack is a fixed entity, with only minor variations. Twilight is like, crazy in about 5% of fanfics, evil in another 5%, or otherwise in some other weird alternate universe scenario. Even in alt. universes, Applejack still acts the same, except maybe edgier or darker, but otherwise the same.
I think it because she's usually a side/ major character, but rarely the main focus. You that video about how AJ gets no love (from the writers)? It's somewhat true in the fandom too. (Except in shipping)

Oh! I see, you meant she remained the same as a character! I thought you meant the stories were practically the same. Makes much more sense now.
And you're probably right. Even with the amount I've changed canon characters, Applejack has more or less remained the same.
Applejack seems like to much of a strait mare to be Spider-Man.
I alway thought of her more like Super man, or maybe the thing from Fantastic Four.
I think there's a fic with Applejack as Captain Mal of the Serenity? (Crossover with Firefly, a space scifi show.) The one I'm thinking of is linked on horizon's page, if you wanna check it out.
