First of all, I'd just like to say "Wow!"
I churned out Friendship is Forever as a oneshot practice gag story when I had some free time while traveling. I got the idea for the story when I was just looking at the walls and walls of "Twilight is immortal and watches her friends die" stories out there. Not that there's anything wrong with those existing, but I wanted to push the idea a step further. "Twilight is immortal and watches her friends die, so she does something about it."
I don't really like to read sadfic, and I know lots of people were tired of that sort of concept already, so I decided to mash the idea up with comedy because everyone likes to laugh, and it'd say that this story's really about something other than loss. You can pretend that this is a sequel to any story where Twilight outlives her friends, because yeah, she did go through a pretty sad time in her life.
Needless to say, it got a load of attention and ended up plastered on the Feature Box. The response has blown me away. I've decided that yeah, I'll go ahead and turn it into a full story. I'm back home and should have time to write now (though I'm still recovering from jet lag). I like my writing to be plotted extremely tightly, so I'm going to need a hefty amount of prep time to turn a oneshot into a full multi-chapter story, but I hope you'll enjoy the results.

That's an amazing responce! Wish you luck with you story and it's ace when people get behind what you think is a simple idea that turns out to be a winner! But honestly it's great to see fellow writers getting their well earned recognition and it inspires me to try and do better! 
So is Ms. Orange actually Snips? Or is Pinkie just screwing with Twilight?
It was written as a oneshot? Huh, didn't strike me as one at all. The ending certainly didn't seem like it would fit a oneshot. I'm also certain it was tagged "incomplete" since I almost never favorite oneshots
