Weekly Update Blog #1 · 5:02am Jan 1st, 2014
Well, 2014's almost upon us, and now's about time to kick off my first weekly update blog... aaaaand...
Well. Not much good news.
First, I'm sick. It never fails. I'm sick every winter break ever since I got into college. Two... forget about two. Three, my usual laptop is being serviced for a hardware problem with its graphics card. While I'm continuing to work on the next installment thanks to having the foresight to put it onto GDocs, it's... not always comfortable. for me.
Sadly, I've only gotten around 5k words total down for the upcoming Reflection- 3k more than last time. It's slow going, and while I've wanted to write it out for months... I don't know, suddenly I found myself unmotivated. Maybe you can help with that though!
Another thing- if you've been following my Ask Frost Windchill tumblr (and I highly suggest you do!), you've just got a nice little update in the form of the first Wasteland Weapon Guide. I did something pretty similar as an April Foals' Day joke, but apparently people liked the idea, so I decided to revive it. Let me know what you think and leave suggestions for the next episode!
And also... maybe questions you'd like me to answer here! Ask anything, though... I might not answer it because some things are awkward and personal! Yeah!
Before I go, I'll leave you with some preview music from the upcoming Reflection to help tide you over.
Yeah. This is going to be a very different Reflection.
With that, until next time.

First off, hope you get better soon. As to motivational problems, I'd be honestly surprised that you would be able to put much work into this over the break. Between Christmas and New Years or any other holidays you may celebrate during the holiday season, there's a whole lot to do. With visiting family and friends and generally enjoying your holiday, its no surprise that writing would take a back seat. Now if you continue having trouble motivating yourself, go back to the source material. Remind yourself why this should be written and why you want to be the one who writes it.
For the weapons guide, I enjoyed it. I love any opportunity to actually see what things are supposed to look like. I also soak information like this up like a sponge.
Alright, first question. What's the longest amount of time you have spent working on the story in one sitting?
Love the song and the game. Very eerie and and alien in the sense that there is something wrong though there are few things more wrong than Phazon.
Enjoy your break!
Edit: Sorry, I accidentally posted it twice.
