Happy new year, almost · 3:01am Dec 31st, 2013
Bad news: that last fic launch was a pretty resounding failure.
Worse news: I've acquired a bunch of tiny adorable parasites. Collectively they are known as Pokemon.
Good news: I'm picking back up on something that a lot of people have been begging me to. Call it a new year's resolution.

Even as we undertook our century-long work of making preparations for the turning of the Ages, we knew that at least some of our efforts would prove meaningless. Immortal we may have been, but even we could not pretend to hold time itself in our hooves. Therefore, instead of creating a doomed plan for a hypothetical future, we considered many futures, and prepared for them all.
The evolution of politics was predictable; the explosion of technology equally so. Even the advent of body modification was one of many possibilities that we took into account. In the end, we attained considerable success in our impossible task of predicting--and, to some small extent, shaping--the future.
Our failure to consider the possibility that this particular being would survive into the new Age can only be called negligence. Negligence, or stupidity.
You wouldn't be talking about the FireRed MMO, would you?
The guy with the Pokemon trainer cosplay avatar has acquired Pokemon?
