Slow going and searching for Editor/Proofreader · 10:04pm Dec 28th, 2013
Well, here I am again, close to a year later, blogging. As there are a few issues I think you, the readers of Dog and Pony Show: Aftermath and Written in Stone should know, I will address them here and now.
The first and ... well ... not quite yet pressing matter is that I'm looking for an Editor/Proofreader that will last more than 2 or 3 chapters. If you've read Written in Stone and noticed a galling amount of punctuation and/or grammatical errors, that's all me. No editor, no proofreader, just me and MWord. So hopefully you appreciate the effort I go through to ensure each chapter has been edited.
On a similar note, If you're interested in being my Proofreader/Editor, or know someone looking to be one, shoot a message my way!
Next order of business - while the next chapter of DaPS: Aftermath is done and ready to be posted, I'm having a fair bit of trouble with the following one. So until I muddle through the one I'm working on now, you won't be seeing said next chapter. Sorry.
Now for the bad news. I'm currently searching for a job and this will, guaranteed, cut into my writing time.
If you have bothered to read this far, then I do have good news for you. If I haven't finished the chapter I'm working on by, say, the first week of February, I will post the next chapter!
There are a couple editor groups on site and you would probably have some luck if you asked over at Overly Extensive Editors.
I'll do it! ...However I can only do spelling and grammar.
