Bein' an adventurin pony meownself, I've tried ta live up to this legacy as best I could, and old of Dream Valley recognized me as the castle's greatest explorer/
But then, that.... bloomin'.... blighter came in an stole me thunder, goin' on and on about her bein the next Rainbow Dash, and makin' me seemlike yeardays news! She has no humility atall, and even carries 'erself like a little floozy aroun' the castle, flirtin' with every stallion not tied down! It's a bloomin' embarassment to her 'armony beaer ancestry, it 'tis! How dare that mare come flappin in 'ere, and say she's 'alf the pony I am!
Ahem, yes.... anyway, it is 'ard for me to believe that 'er ancestor an' mine could 'ave ever been friends? Darin' Do never could've put up with that big an ego on 'er adventures! Rainbow Dash may have been good at wavin' a beam of light on a necklace around and puttin on a flying show for the Canterlot eliete, but that 'ardly equeals goin' on facin' dangers and goin' on adventures! Daring was stuck with that imbecile Rainbow Dash, an' I'm stuck with her imbecile heir! By the queen's petticoat, I'll show that little tramp up on this 'ere adventure, or my name isn't North Star!

So you are the descendant of the me from this universe, and if I didn't know better I swear that you have a cross between a Haligonian and Havenite accent... sorry, charting regional accents is bit of a hobby of mine, Let me introduce myself, Master Chief Petty Officer Daring Do, Equestria Royal Navy, Doctor of Archology and History, and honorary professor at the University of White Haven.
I have met Miss Dash, and while she at times acts like an imbecile she still has a good head on her shoulders and is one of the most loyal ponies I have ever met. And when she is not acting like a fangirl she is quite pleasant to be around... except for when I talk shop and she finds out that I'm nothing like Dame Twilight Velvet and I write about.
There is more to life than glory and adoration, and while I do not know how I acted in your world, I always feel that my greatest achievement was more than finding the Sapphire Statue or the Golden Rings, it was finding the truth of the past and preserving it for the future. Well that and being a mother, I wouldn't give Ditzy up for anything in the world.
