I commissioned Squeak on Sep 2 to finish a story, Caralight. I remember when he used to post updates on MLPG, and I looked forward to them. But he stopped writing his stories, to follow up on w/e. The one story was all I was interested in, so on the 2nd I asked him to write it for money. We agreed on $100, and asked to send it to his friends account. I gave him $130 as an act of good faith, and he said he could do an epilogue in response.
On the 8th he gave his friends email address to send the money to. He didn't respond until the 17th. No story update due to storm power outage.
Responded on Oct 3rd, said he lost his editor due to him not ever responding. Said the story would be out that evening, or he would be out for the evening. No story update.
No response until the 23rd. Following is the conversation.

The next response was the 7th of Nov. He said editing was being done to next chapter, and to expect it that tomorrow or the day after.
No response since, on Skype or FIM. He seems to have lost interested. I can accept that. Been trying to contact him to ask for a refund of the $100 for the rest of the story. The 100 is to help pay for a critical thing for my education. It would be nice. Seems fair. I don't expect it back though.
