You guys are great! · 10:24pm May 5th, 2012
No, seriously, I know I've said it already, but you guys are.
I keep getting more and more favs trickling in every few minutes. I honestly have no idea what I did to cause this to happen, but I can't thank you guys enough.
'A Change of Face' may not be in the top 10 anymore, and it may not make it to the featured stories board, but it's still been overwhelming the response you all have given me and my little tale. I've even had a few comments pleading with me not to make this a short story, but unfortunately, I just don't think I've got the focus right now to keep this going beyond a few chapters. So, I've started on the third and possibly final part of the story. I say 'possibly' because I'm trying to keep each part between 3k and 4k words. If I end up there with stuff still left to tell, I'll keep going, but it will eventually come to an end.
But I still feel like I owe it to you guys, who've been so good the past couple days, to give you all something to look forward to. So, I've decided that, if you all are interested, I may just start work on a sequel to this story. The way I see it, after finding out that the love of your life is actually a changeling, things just can't simply go back to normal. So, we all might get to see Bon Bon and Lyra's new life together, both trying to keep Bon's secret under wraps, especially from a certain librarian who's just too curious for her own good. I might even throw in an OC or two, and maybe even a love scene (if I'm not too embarrassed about writing it XD).
I'm also still waiting around for the story to get approved and posed to EQD, which would be like, 20% more awesome than anything else ever could be.
Again, thank you all, and I'll try to give you guys something to enjoy.
EDIT: Well, apparently my story isn't likely to make it up on EQD anytime soon. Seems they have some issue with me not using a character's name 15 or more times in one paragraph. There's some other issues as well, but nothing I think I could fix without having someone to edit the story for me, since I'm bad about checking my own work. They also made a rather disconcerting comment about my confidence, which I cant quite really understand. Oh well, I tried, but maybe it was a bit too much to expect this early.
