Question and appology. · 4:34pm Jun 13th, 2012
Firstly, I've seen a few fics on here that have images added into the chapters. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it simply using the same code to add images to comment and blog posts, or is there something else involved?
Secondly, I'd like to apologize for taking so long in finishing Part 3 of 'Life, Lies, and Love'. I had planned on having it done shortly after I returned from my trip, but things have not been working out how I would of liked. Firstly, the tablet I had ordered to replace the one damaged in a slight accident turned out to have a defective battery. So after sending it back to be replaced, it turns out that THAT replacement has been shipped to the wrong address. Secondly, my mouse has been acting up. It'll just stop working suddenly, sometimes it'll start working again if it's unplugged then plugged back in, but sometimes it wont work again till my computer is restarted. A replacement should arrive any day now, so hopefully it's just the mouse and not something wrong with my computer
And to top everything off, I've come down with a slight cold
So yeah, things haven't been going quite as well as I wanted. But never the less, Part 3 is now finished, and awaiting proof-reading and corrections. Hopefully in the next day or so I'll have it up for everyone to enjoy and/or hate. And, lucky you, it's another long chapter.
Now maybe eventually I can get around to finishing 'A Gift for Mistress'
Ugh, sorry to hear about the cold. On the other hand, new chapter coming soon!
Happy dance Happy dance! New chapter!
Get better soon. And don't mind us, we can wait.
I have no idea about the images. I guess you could go to your least-tracked story, edit the latest chapter, back it up in case of monumental screw-up, and see if you can add an image with bbcode? Then remove the image if it worked? :P

Happy to hear that the image issue has been resolved. Sorry to hear about the rest of it. Eat soup and sleep well.
...and personally, I have never had a mouse truely die on me. I've had one go flaky on me (it kept registering a double click when I had not done so), and a second have it's outer casing rot away, but otherwise I tend to run through computers faster than I do mice. and since EVERY computer and EVERY keyboard comes packaged with one of those electronic rodents now a days, I have quite the selection of backups to choose from, just in case.
Get well soon, to both you and your pointing device! Looking forward to the long chapter
