I fear that nothing I see is real, so I write to make sense of it. I see things that can't exist yet I feel them breathing under my fingers. I will not forget this place nor the friends I've made. MFM

Of course it was a dream

Just woke up from a nap, gotta write this down

Okay, I was surfing late night television when I accidentally chose a low numbered channel that seemed to have some random anime scheduled.
The show was an animated Equestria girls music video that was a little... NSFW.

Questionable would be the derpi rating if you catch my drift.

    Predictions

As you may all know, the final season of Gen4 is upon us in a few weeks.

And, as I was sitting here, dreading it, I had a strong feeling about what might occur in this season:

First i want to say i mean no offence, im just giving you some tips. Take them of leave them. I'm just here because i read your stories and think you need them.
---------------------------------------------------------

hey there, I think the problem with your writing style is it looks like one big text wall, no paragraph separation at all, dialogs mixed with the story as if they were one which makes i hard to read, and the fact that, well, everything happens without reason at any moment.

I'll give you another perspective, you ask why everyone hates it, but i ask you: why dont you write something we like?
If you complain about people not liking it then it must be because it is important to you for others to like it. Hence, that being the objective, you should do whatever is at your reach to reach it. Complaining wont get you anywhere near that. So there's no reason to do it.

Take this into consideration. When you read you imagine what you are reading, what you imagine is based on your memories and experiences. Not everyone has the same. So if you want others to see it the same way you do, you have to write it in the way they understand it.
For example, the sound you hear when someone says hello, you understand it as someone greeting you. If i were you and were to say "Hola" expecting others to understand the same i do then no one would understand me.
Like with books "for kids" and adults. Those written for kids will look silly in the eyes of adults because they use a different language, kids book will use different words and stuff so that a child will understand it as most kids dont know many words yet. nor a lot or other stuff, so you cant put quantum physics jokes in a kids book when they dont even know how to multiply.

You have three options, you either write what you like, what
the others like, or hit the keyboard with your hands which doesnt count as writing imo.
1- If you want to write what you want then dont complain about others not liking it because not everyone has to like the same as you. Writting what you like is the objective, them liking it is not, so it's not important.
2- If you want to write what they like, first you must know what they like. Try to put yourself in their shoes. What they read, what they like, and analyse how it is written, which words it uses. the pace, (if you like it) the emotions it makes you feel and how it makes you feel them. Once you now all that you should understand what and why they like it and be able to copy it (the style) in you own story.
Be careful though not to let other's advices tell you what to write, or else you could end up writing their story instead of yours. You have to balance what you want to write with "i want others to enjoy it",
It's easy, but it depends on you. Just find a few stories like what you want to write, that people liked, and compare them, see how they organised the text, the paragraphs, etc. Once you understand how the writing style works, just write your story in that style.

Let me tell you something. i'm here just because of that comment you made about my avatar being up side down. You made a lot of comments together and the words you used looked like a kid's. The first thing i though was "kid with badly written stories", and i was right (no idea about the age though). I could know that because i analyse people a lot (psychology) so with only a few hints i can know what people will most probably like and dislike. (this is where "read people like an open book" comes from) That is what you should do, see what those you want to like your story like, click the user, see what his favs are, compare, if you see most like stories about purple stones, you know you should write about purple stones, or at least put a purple stone in your story. Also expect those that hate purple stones to appear in the comments. But at least you know that if you do exactly what they like they will like it, and if they dont it's because you made a mistake somewhere, so correct and try again)

I took a look at your stories and all except Sweetie mine had the same problem people told you. In sweetie mime there's someone that looks a liitle like paragraphs, and a better exposition, and see, you got 9 likes with only 1 dislike.
By exposition i mean, ask yourself, "if i were to ask some random person in the street if they knew what i meant by xxxxxx, what are the chances they will say exactly the same that i had in mind?" What do you think and oldman whom never saw mlp say about what a "cutiemark" is and where is it from?

You should analyse how people write, their style, words they use, etc while you read. Read a lot, analyse and compare them and yours should get better in no time.
Dont feel bad for coping other's styles, art works like that, you first learn to copy a lot of styles, and then mix them as you see fit to make yours. If you see books irl, they are pretty much the same, with only subtle differences, but those little details are what differentiate them from the rest.

Yeah, it's a bit long, and there's lot more to it.
Writing is a form of art, and as everyone knows, no one is born knowing how to draw, or play the piano, same goes for this. Practice and think about how to get better. Else repeating always the same mistake without thinking how to fix it will only make you better at making that mistake.

thanks, i have improved upon reflection of the dislikes and re-worked my processes and hope that you like what i will make.
text wall... gotta think about that
