Wow. Just... wow, guys. I really don't know what to say. I'm really, entirely shocked that, at various points, 2000 people sat down and said "You know, that story you wrote, Obs? I will give it an upvote." When I started this whole shebang on writing words about ponies, I'd never, ever, in a million years, dreamed that anything I wrote would ever get this far... but here we are, I guess. I poured a lot of heart and soul into IMO, and I'm really grateful people felt it.
No, no, I'm not crying. I just have... a boulder in my eye, or something.
You're all super great fans for sticking with me this far, and I love you. Thanks, everyone. Continue being awesome.
Incidentally, here's a teaser for an upcoming work I have in progress. By complete coincidence, not at all related to the 2000 upvote milestone, it bears a few similarities to In Memory Of, so those of you who liked that should keep your ears to the ground and listen for rumblings of me posting it soon:

Sorry if it came across as bragging. It was intended more as me being immensely grateful that folks liked In Memory Of enough to carry it to the 2000 upvote mark. More "Wow, you guys are great," than anything else.

My comment was tongue-in-cheek in nature, but I'll also say, while I'm happy for people when they reach a milestone, it kind of cheapens it when someone highlights it.
Regardless, congratulations on your accomplishment, and one well-deserved. Keep up the good work.
