Mlm hits a milestone, and a couple Updates · 2:42am Dec 18th, 2013
Wow. These two updates took way too long.
No excuses for the belatedness of this My Little Marriage and A Twilight Landing update, fellows. Well, perhaps one. I do think the story's become more difficult to write as its evolved. Mostly, though, my own dedication to it has wavered for one reason or another. Honestly, I expect the update rate will stay this way, which is unfortunate, especially, because after crunching some numbers that, unless I start updating a few times a month again, this could easily take another year to finish. I don't want to drag this out for that long, but I also want the story to feel whole and complete. (Of course, my dabbling in other stories constantly may also be partly to blame.)
I understand stories don't need to be long to be good, certainly, but I also have a lot of story in mind that I think is worth telling, too. Maybe I do need a break, I'm not sure. I don't feel like a break would guarantee a strong return, though, so I won't do that. Hopefully I can get myself focused so I can get back to making real head way.
Now, a lot has happened! My Little Marriage has hit a thousand upvotes, which is pretty snazzy, especially considering how bad I was at writing when I started.. Hah... Now, that's not saying I'm any good, now, but I am a little better. 
More news, Contrail should be returning sometime soon. It will be under a new author! We love Alex, and he did a great job, but he's still in school and is passing the torch. Ironically to someone also still in school.
Rarity and Pinkie Pie Section.
Oh My God. It's almost at 200!
Now, it's obvious I have a few stories that dwarf this story in terms of attention and what not, but I still find it profoundly amazing that a story that had been stuck on less than twenty for a while, has come this far. Now, I guess it means a little bit less, seeing as it is linked to what's happening to the other girls in this weird, ill-conceived idea of a tale I dreamt up, but I still l love it. So, thanks to everyone that's given the stories a chance. I love writing and writing these stories, but I also love knowing that someone has enjoyed them. ^^
I often wonder why I chose to saddle Rarity with Pinkie Pie in their adventure, and I quite think this scene and others like it are just the reason why.
So, yes, I have yet more to add, this is a huge Blog! Mostly because I've been posting so little, lately. : P
This section has to deal with developments over all. I have another one shot on the way for Christmas, not sure if it will get done, but, what I do have thus far of it has teenie-bopper Twilight eating gingerbread and talking to Celestia in front of a fireplace, so rest assured, the adorable knob is turned up all the way.
In addition, the next Shy chapter has been half written for a while, and I hope to get that out soon, as well. I'll post a blog too when I do. Lastly, I've brought on some new talent to try and increase my update rate...
What I need are some folks to help me write dialogue or even narrative framework ahead of time, that would take a huge workload off of my shoulders, and lemme tell you guys, writing this much as fast as I *can* with just one hand? Gets difficult with time. So, if anypony has talent that they would like to offer in whatever amount they would like to these stories, whether because you enjoy them, or maybe just pity me, feel free to offer!

Quality over quantity, my friend. Don't beat yourself up for taking the time to do it right, no matter how long that may be.
Also, in whatever limited way I can, I'd like to offer my assistance, even if it's just moral support or pre-reading and giving impressions. I've got a boatload of my own stories I'm working on, but I can always work in time to take a little break to help out a fellow writer.

Well, here's a suggestion for since it seems that your hand is starting to hurt a bit. Why not get a pocket recorder, or make audio notes on your phone if you can do that etc.etc. , and just talk the story into existence and then transcribe it later.
Talking things out can help solve a problem out quite well sometimes.
