SEVEN MORE SLEEPS, KIDDIES, B4 SANNY-CLAWS COMES.
I'm expecting my workload to die off now at the start of the new year. My writing has been very minor for pretty much the whole month, but I'm intending to get as much done for What's Really the Most Important as I can over my couple days off around Christmas. Hopefully, you can all expect another intermission soon.
While I continue laying out my plans and intentions for my CMC/Manehattan CMC project, (ok, no, stop KK, you need to call this the Manehattan Project. Do it. Go back and fix it.)

While I continue laying out my plans and intentions for the MANEHATTAN PROJECT, I've been recently brainstorming some ideas for the I'm Sorry, Sis sidefics. The one currently in my crossroads is Sweetie Belle, and I'm having a lot of fun writing down a few scattered scenes. I love seeing Rarity and Sweetie Belle fight. God, they're adorable. It'll be a nice opportunity to try my hands at characterising Pearl and Magnum, too. Now, that's something I've been itching to do since I hinted in WRTMI that Rarity's parents don't really have a whole lot to do with Sweetie. That will definitely play a factor.
I'm expecting it to be a fun write, but it'll also might be a little... uncomfortable for me, I suppose, depending where I want to the family relationship. This'll definitely be the black sheep, so to speak, of the supposed ISS trilogy, but it should also please the naysayers who swarmed ISS: Scootaloo and its prior version, Sisterly Guidance.
Expect some feels, some humour, and... probably one or two Friendship is Witchcraft references, because I'm a terrible guy.
Also, there's definitely been a... trend, so to speak, when it comes to spankfics on FIMFiction. Especially Applejack and Apple Bloom (I can think of three off the top of my head, and it's not unknown that I'm poised to rewrite ISS: AB to make it good enough to FINALLY FUCKING POST, but it's always at the bottom of my priorities). I'd like to take full credit for the trend, but I certainly was not the first one to post one on FIMFiction. Anyways, to nail down some continuity for ISS: SB, I reread the Scootaloo one recently, and... goddamn. That one guy who said I overused exclamation points was absolutely right. Not only that, but Applejack's accent is VERY inconsistent, which was a fact that my editor pointed out to me, but I flatly ignored at a time, and, yes... that final talk with Scootaloo really doesn't need to be as long-winded as it is. I'm starting to work on getting inner-monologues in italics than my usual single-quotation marks... it needs a touch-up! Why?
ISS: Scootaloo is at 500+ upvotes right now, enjoyed a very good run at the top of the feature box during those first 40 hours, and I do think, if gone through with a fine-toothed comb, it could be EQD material. If I can get a fic like -that- on EQD, I'd be damn impressed with myself. Also, Arwhale is currently shooting for the same thing with his Black Eye story (second linked story up there), and needs some traffic. So, go support him, you lot! I believe Lightning Haze needs an editor, too, if anyone wants to go harass 'em with their editorial credentials.
TL;DR, WRTMI stuff soonishes, ISS: SB maybe soonisheseses.

And if you ever want help with ISS: Scootaloo and getting it featured on EqD, I can try my best to help you with that. Just so you know for future reference. I've already got my fingers crossed on Black Eye, but I know it's going to be a long time before they finally get back to me when I do finally send it in, so... yeah. We'll see how it goes for the both of us.
