SFM is a pain in my ass. · 8:27pm Dec 8th, 2013
Don't get me wrong. I love the program and I love everything it can do. But trying to find resources for it is like practicing do-it-yourself dentistry.
Does ANYONE out there know of a central repository for all the amazing SFM models, effects and other cool resources? Because if I can't find a changeling model, how am I supposed to do a SFM version of Fun with Changelings?
On that note, if any of you out there are much more talented than I, to the point of being able to do 3D modeling and rigging, or are capable of doing passable voice acting for ponies, I would like to develop a friendship with you so that I could call on you to assist me in my movies.
So in short, I've got a pipe dream of actually being able to create some cool videos. But in order to do so, I need people who can do what I never could.
sir, I don't even know what SFM is.

Source Filmmaker. It's the program I used to make the movies in my last blog post.

AHA.... make a banana... They're awesome to talk to... unlike cucumbers, they are racist and mean.
I can do 3D modeling, but I only use AutoDesk Inventor which is a 3D CAD program so anything I made would be 100% useless to you. You could send it to a 3D printer easily enough to make a real model if you had one of those, but I highly doubt you could get it into SFM at all, and even if you did it would have no rigging.
I am also no good on the voice acting front and I have absolutely no experience with SFM, finding assets for it, or the Source Engine so I am not able to help you with anything.

Thanks anyway.
