So I'm going to assume everyone here has seen today's episode. The "Background Pony special" as it were. To those who have not, fear not. I'll be making no major spoilers about the episode. Only speaking about one particular scene. I think most of you know which one.
Honestly not sure what to make of this. As a few of my friends have pointed out, we have a lone changeling sitting in the crowd with a few empty seats beside her. It's been suggested that those seats are for Vinyl and Octavia, which would be pretty epic. Now I'm not going to say this was canonization of Wubsy but... wouldn't it be epic if it were?
All I'm going to say on the matter is that if it were a result of my story, I'd be thrilled. And if not, which is very likely the case, then I can still have a good time headcanoning it to be Wubsy. The way I see it it's probably just there for the gag of scaring the foals but hey, I can dream, right?
Whether it's Wubsy or not, I don't think he/she is complaining about the free buffet.
I think the seats were for the foals who piled up at the edge of the row. But still, its nice to see that (insert any changeling OC) got to have a place at the wedding and that they were not all exterminated by the Horngasm of Greater Bug Slaying.
Those seats are empty because the children are afraid of the changeling.
Just the sight of a changeling is good, at least one survived. Also, fic fodder!
Yeah, like I said there's really not enough to say this is Wubsy. But by thunder I shall headcanon it with all my might!

Yeh, what Jetstream and Checkmate said, you can see some scared foals just before.
Also: seated behind both princesses (and behind/diagonal to a third) and no guards (however near-goddamned-useless they are) in sight.
Larson tweeted that the changeling is a friend of Matilda's.

The best things to take from this were LyraBon and Vinyltavia, Derpy speaks and actually has a proper voice, and of course the changeling!
(I do count myself lucky to have done away with my old issues on mare/mare shippings long before now, also for stallion/stallion, because what further fanfics might have arisen afterward may have got on my nerves a bit...
