Apologies · 2:06pm Dec 3rd, 2013
I just wished to apologise for taking so long to get the next chapter of Solitary Pinion and A Stranger Among the Voices. I did suggest I might have something up after the weekend, but I have been having horrible writer’s block. Well, I think that’s what it is called at least?
Anyhow, I have been deleting and rewriting the first 1000 words of both about eight to nine times, changing, altering and repeating this until my mind goes numb. x.x
I will strive to get both to my pre-reader and then editor by end of next weekend. I have just got to get through the initial hump which is prohibiting me from continuing the stories. Rather annoying because everything past these points I could write without pause easily, but it would look odd without leading into them… sigh.
Anyhow, onto something more upbeat! I was initially rather dubious about giving out some details, but after giving out my steam account I have had several people add me. It’s been fun to play with some of you, and just as much fun to chat. I know I can ramble sometimes and I apologise if I can’t play with everyone, but it’s been quite fun thus far. ^-^
So, thanks! Of course, given my attention span I am easily distracted, so do take that into account when you ask me to game. And, if I am really, really stuck into my writing, please don’t feel offended if I turn you down.
Also, hopefully there will be more art soon as I maaay be commissioning one or two things. Hopefully, fingers crossed.
Oh and one last thing. When the heck did I get 500 followers?! O.o
The fact there are that many people who enjoy my writings enough to follow me is mindboggling, and very humbling. Thank you and I hope I continue to entertain with whatever it is you enjoy about my meanderings into fanfiction.
Of course, now there’s more pressure. @.@

Thanks for the heads-up.
Considering how big the last update was, and that you technically release 1 and 1/2 chapters, waiting is fine, just like all of us tell you ever time this blog post pops up.
You never did show me your Skyrim character BTW.
dont sweat it,
the wait is well worth it
If I may be so bold as to give you some advice: if the pre-readers feel up to it, give them the current copy and bounce ideas off of them: they may have some thoughts on how those first scenes could be.
Again, if you don't want to do this, that's okay as well.
Everything will be ok, I know it!
And don't be so tenseful about followers numbers, it just says that you are super and your fics are masterpiece!
I like both of those stories and have no problem with waiting for an update. I have plenty of time.
Also, I would rather wait for an update you were happy with over a rushed one you made just to force it out.
Those first frickin 1000! I know that feel bro, don't sweat it.
Hey! Are you going to participate in the santa hat avatar thingy that goes around here on FimFiction? All you need to do is take your avatar and any of the billions of transparent santa hats on a google search and add it to your avatar picture.. Don't forget to save it as a diffirent name than your original picture so you don't replace it.

That's fine your one of the reasons I made an account (still need to get around to drawing my avatar). I have really enjoyed all your stories and even re-read A Voice Among The Strangers at least 5 times, so take as long as you need.
Meh, it's not like we're going to hunt you down with torchs and pitchforks if you don't write a chapter per day.

he an't the only one. I'll be waiting with batted breath for your next post
Heeeey it's okay :3
-hug-
When its done, it is done, never worry. But have you considered writing each of the ideas down, and working from there, then seeing which of ideas can be molded into back into that. so you can focus on something past that one passage that is stonewalling you?
Seriously, stop apologizing for being late! You're a great writer, you can take all the time you need to get the updates out. Other great authors end up taking a lot longer than you do to get their chapters out, so you are even better at it than they are.
I said it before and will say it again here : please, take all the time you need. Do not apologise for the delays that (might) happen, they are only delays if you tell us they are. Otherwise, we are just here waiting for the next chapter of your stories, patienly. Because what good is there in rushing you anyway ?
On this note, take care. I'll just be... there waiting for your updates :)
You're offering your writing services to us for free. I can understand if you have personal goals for each chapter, but you don't answer to us. We wait and accept your literary whims. Looking forward to solitary pinion and let us know when you get published please
Dude, take a step back. Go see a movie, read a book, play a video game. Do ANYTHING but write, but make sure you take your notepad with you. (in case of inspiration emergency)
Once you've let your head have a few hours to chillax, come back and attack the problem with a new perspective. Don't burn yourself out over this, because you will end up hating the thought of writing. Go at your own pace, and don't sweat it, we will still be here, waiting and ready for whatever you have planned for your characters.
I'm not so great a fool as to try to give you any writing advice, so I'll just sit here in the waiting room ...waiting. Watching. Your. Every. Move.
keep at it loved strnger and will follow the sequal for ever
ah, Writer's Block. I know the feeling too well. I had to put one of my stories on hold because my writer's block got so bad. Sometimes you just need to take a breather though. Take your time. Knowing your writing, I'm sure it will be WELL worth the little extra wait.

the best solution to writers block is to write about something else until your writer's block is gone, doesn't matter what, just write something
Look forward to reading them, whenever they are ready.
Actually...your writers block meant that we were able to get past my final projects for the semester. So...due to your writer's block (and that's what it sounds like you have from my end) allowed me to catch up!
Well...knock 'em dead! ...but don't worry if you keep having trouble. Just keep at it, and you can also send things to me if you want advice. You don't just have to send me huge chunks :P
Oh, and in regards to steam...I thought I'd go looking for you...and then I couldn't figure out which 'Tystarr' was you. Anyways, as always:
Standing by.

Either or. ^-^;
One with the most games is the better one to add.
Hey, it's cool. I suggest you take a break, and preferably get some physical activity in; I find that exercise and/or sunlight tends to remove whatever is gumming up the works when one has writers block. Not to mention, casual breaks help to refresh one's perspective, which can go a great deal towards figuring out the problem.
Also, I've sent the last bit of Solitary Pinion, but I don't know if you got it. If you could let me know either way, that'd be great.

I got it, just haven't had a chance to update or anything really. x.x
On the plus side, am almost 10k into Chapter 5 of ASAtV!
Got my inspiration back at least. ^-^
