For the first time ever, the new chapter won't be going up tonight at the usual time.
Right now it's finals week and I have a lot of things I still need to get done. The chapter still needs a lot of polish before I can post it, so I'm not even going to try to do that in the next hour and forty-five minutes. But the good news is - by the end of this week, I'll be done with school-type stuff and I'll have more time to focus on writing. Plus I'll get out of the oppressive soul-crushing atmosphere of college!
It should be able to get posted either tomorrow or Tuesday, but most likely tomorrow. I'll just throw it up whenever it's ready instead of waiting for midnight of whatever day. SURPRISE!
But yeah. Sorry. Real life gets in the way sometimes.

Entirely fine by me, albeit a bit disappointing. I was looking forward to reading it. Just don't let even a deep passion like around this get in the way of school work. The only thing I wish that would happen to would be the guys writing "how I met my Pony." That fic is just to amazing.
RPG Lyra makes up for this. But I am still sad. First time there is no Lyra on Sunday.

92168 Yeah, there's one of those classes in my school, and all the kids talk about how hard it is. Good thing I can't draw, or model for crap! Though I wish I could cause I got some really good ideas for pictures. One of them includes a post-apocolyptic setting (like fallout) with a jeep cruising down a deserted cracked and dusty road, with a humanized Lyra in the passenger seat, thumping her hand on the outside of the door to the beat of a song as she and two others drive down the road. And, all I can draw is stick figures
. That's why I write, cause I can't get all the creative shit outta my head any other way!
Don't worry about it. Five months without breaking schedule must be some kind of fanfiction record.

What college do you go to?
I am going to a smallish town college, and the atmosphere there is wonderful and liberating! 
That's actually one of the reasons I choose it. In big city colleges in my area almost everyone is rude and unfriendly to the point of nearly being antisocial ( 
), but where I'm going people hold the door for you and you can strike up a friendly conversation with 75% of the people and polite inquiry with another 24%. 
It's also not an overly competitive place, which can be a real drag on morale.
Anyway, point is, I love college! It's where I fit in best.

I can't even imagine what that feels like, though, I've been in college for four years and I feel like I'm never going to leave. (At least 1 and probably 3-4 more years left depending on how much I want to kill myself after applying for grad school.) Oh well, what can you do, education is a blessing even when it's soul-crushing. And I have ponies to keep my spirits up!
