Do you have a character you headcanon as trans?

And that no amount of canon evidence will convince you otherwise?

    Happy Pride Month!

Aight, first pride out of the trans closet. I should probably add some serious words. Maybe share my own experience coming out twice in my 30's, and overall try and reach people either on a similar situation, or open the space for each one to talk about their experience too.

But honestly, it's been a low energy day, so enjoy this meme and if you feel like sharing, I'm all ears:

    Looking back...

Maybe there were signs about being trans I should have paid attention to.

Sylveon being a trans icon since the beginning

Today I learned that Sylveon's type was a debate before it was revealed they were the new fairy type. And in a way, that feels like the most trans way to reveal the little gender 'mon.

Sylveon literally went through an speculation phase before coming out.

Harley Quinn #0 Review · 5:54am Nov 22nd, 2013

Remember that old tread I posted some time ago:
There's still hope. All will be well.

Well, now I just read the first issue and I think that it deserves a review (let's just hope that it doesn't end like my last review)

Cover:
The expected quality from Amanda Conner, there's no much to say about it; it's well draw but is not revealing too much information about the issue.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT AND/OR DON'T WANT TO KNOW IMPORTANT DETAILS OF THE STORY STOP RIGHT NOW.

We start finding Harley in a warehouse talking to, a talking toy? herself?
Then we go to the second page where we got a nice Take That Audience with Harley wondering how would be if she was in a comic book until Amanda C. and Jimmy P. themselves start to talking to her and complaining about how now Palmiotti is known for being "one of those guys that does the cowboy" and Conner for being known as "the chick that draws the girls with the big--"

And there goes the fourth wall.

The comic becomes is a roller coaster of different, very random, ideas with a different one for each artist with Harley Quinn, Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti commenting about it:

Becky Cloonan: Harley leading her own rock band. (I can see her as Joan Jett for some reason)
Tony Daniel: GIANT ROBOT HARLEY QUINN! (I just love mechas)
Stephane Roux: Cime busting on the back of a dolphin! (pretty awesome indeed)
Dan Panosian: Harley Quinn meets Mad Men. (I didn't saw that series but the page is funny anyways)
Walter Simonson: Remember that legendary Manhunter mini-series that Simonson draw? (he still got it)
Jim Lee: Batman. (seriously, just Batman)
Bruce Timm: If you don't laugh with this page, you're provably dead inside. (Bruce frigging Timm!)
Charley Adlard: Sorry but no zombies here, just guns and violence. (but I really wanted to see HQ vs Z)
Adam Hughes: The classical Hughes's pin-up. (he still got it too)
Art Baltazar: Harley meet the Tiny Titans, Tiny titans meet Herley's hammer. (Aw yeah Tiny Harley)
Tradd Moore: What was that movie that ended with a police car chase in a cliff? (classic or cliche?)
Dave Johnson: The typical atmosphere from the 100 Bullets covers. (I would like to see this on regular)
Jeremy Roberts: Just random panels in a comic made out of random pages. (yo dang indeed)
Sam Kieth: Harley in a cursed swamp. (another artist keeping his style)
Darwyn Cooke: Harley and Catwoman robbing the Palmiotti-Conner's wedding. (why this guy is not working on a regular series?)

And finally after one of the most random works I've ever read we are introduced to the regular artist, Chad Hardin, of the series and also tho the start point of the story for the series.

So, it was a good comic or a bad comic? If it was a bad comic, I wouldn't be sitting here reviewing it now would I?
There's no story whatsoever but the comics holds on being really funny combining it whit some good meta. Iit was like the comic version of the Mee the Team videos from TF2 combined with Deadpool: The Game. And it was nice to see some living legends like Cooke or Timm just having fun, there's a lot of passion from the artists in these pages and you can feel that enthusiasm through every single one.

For me, this is a must-read, knowing Conner and Palmiotti and also remembering their work on Power Girl (another must-read) then I have my hopes high for the next issues.
