Concerning Extended Absence · 7:03pm Nov 20th, 2013
You may have been wondering where I have been for the past few weeks, or you may have stumbled across this blog by accident, or you may not have known I was absent to begin with. Well... here is the truth of the matter. I entered into yet another competition (The other competition implied here is OneShotober). This competition, however, had less than desirable results. I did not succeed. I was forced, by other projects and the like, to halt at around 18K words, the goal is 50K over the month of November. It became grossly apparent that I simply could not keep up with that speed and retain an ounce of quality. For now, I am not writing (I have a gratuitous amount of high priority work), but I will begin again soon.
TL;DR.
I tried. I failed. I am picking myself up. I will be continuing on.
Well, you did a better job than I would've done if I joined that competition.
