Glaring plot holes, Celestia getting her ass handed to her by the changeling even when she's a freakin DEITY, and Cadence coming out of nowhere with this being the first time we're being informed of something as major as Twilight having a BROTHER aside, I have to say I still quite enjoyed the finale for what it was. No story's perfect, but it was the little things that made it for me - Lyra being finally voiced, Vinyl's eye color getting canonized, and the major fight scene the mane 6 had with the changelings - I swear, the Halo Theme MJOLNIR Mix was playing in my head throughout the entire thing.
All I gotta say is that by the end of it, I was HUGELY relieved to find out that the REAL Princess Cadence did get married to Shining Armor after all. Why? Because I have PLANS for those two, in Book 3 of the Order of Koaxia trilogy. Having the real Cadence never loved Shining Armor and married him at all would have completely derailed those plans.
Ah, that, and tunnels and catacombs beneath Canterlot are now canon. Just wait till we reach book 3 to see what I do with this.
