A Canterlot Wedding: My thoughts · 1:01am Apr 22nd, 2012
First off, THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Undoubtedly the best episode yet. I was going to watch it on TV, I had to convince my parents to let me use theirs because they only pay for cable in their room, but I just decided to sleep in. I am on vacation after all. Vinyl Scratch's eye color is now canon! They look purple, but watching in 480p isn't very reliable. FlutterDash is Canon, too. We have a new sentient race, the Changelings, which are about 20% eviler than Nightmare Moon ever was. Luna got some lines (3 to be exact) and Lyra spoke once. Princess Chrysalis (The Changeling Queen) has an incredible voice. The way it echoes is just amazing - I don't know how else to describe it. She sounds and looks mysteriously like The Great and Powerful Trixie... She vaguely reminds me of the 'Destroyer - a dark reflection of an Alicorn' monster From 'Equestria's Twilight'. In my headcanon, Trixie became Chrysalis, sort of like how Luna became Nightmare moon from jelously. I'm still curious as to whether or not she could just come back to Canterlot and try again, next time with a better plan. I mean it seemed like she and her minions were just blown far, far away. Not turned to stone like Discord, or 'turned good again' (Words of Twilight Sparkle) like Nightmare Moon. Then again, both of those times the Elements of Harmony were used so... I don't know.
Three new songs is just - wow. Everyday Spike's Shufflin', but what was he going to do about the bachelor party? Many fanfic writers are going to have fun with that. Derpy even showed up a few times also, and she's still the same old wall-eyed mare. Ponies have absolute control over each individual eye, as Twilight so delicately demonstrated. So far, every Alicorn is female. Think there'll be a male one soon? We can only hope. Season 3 is going to be awesome, I just know it. Too bad we have to wait, like, forever for it.

I highly doubt they (the animators or whoever) would make FlutterDash canon. Like what Dashie222 said, it was likely an animation error, lag, whatever.
