513035 It's super easy and if you screw up you can restore with iTunes. I had that happen the first time. I didn't press the buttons in the right way and then it turned off and wouldn't power back on. I plugged it into my computer and iTunes was like, "Whoa, your shit is bricked! Want me to fix that, bro?" and I was like "Fo sho." I used greenp0ison for iOS 4.2.1, the respective highest version of iOS that the 2g Touch can run (Without doing anything crazy). Obviously, make certain that you use the correct jailbreak for the appropriate version of iOS your iDevice is running. Be forewarned: jailbreaking can void your warranty, if you have one. I don't.

Well, I have warranty for both my iTouch and iPhone so I'll do it when they run out. Replacing iTouch/iPhone parts aren't cheap. D:
