Why can't I quit?

For some of you who may know, I have decided to stop writing. It is something that I may put so much time and effort into a skill that I don't even plan to use. Not that anyone reads these things, so I guess this is really for myself.

Current projects:

Writing:
TF2 Crossover. Yes, this has been done a million times before, but I haven't read any so far that actually go into TF2's storyline; it's just a bunch of silliness or action, yet they never talk about things like how BLU and RED are both working for the same company, Red Demo and Blue Soldier were once friends, the Soldier being rejected from every part of the military, Engie's name being Dell Conagher, or so forth. In one of the comics for TF2 Engie and Pyro receive weapons and a letter from another dimension. This is how i will explain how they get to Equestria.

Reworking Red Sky Chapter 1 a bit to correlate with not only the rest of the story, but the other FOUR stories in the series, which I have yet to come up with a name. Red Sky will take place in the middle of all 5 of these stories. This is assuming I even get Red Sky off the ground.
