This is what every author should strive for.
Recently it has been brought to my attention that a little group called lovers of church actually exists in this lovely little fimfiction place. Now, it is a small group, not much to look at, not a lot to do. But it is hands down the best group this site has to offer.
Seriously, this is amazing. This is why I do what I do. If you are an author, and you are here to gain followers and have your place in "history" I do not care for you. This little post in a group that has two whole followers (including myself) is better than having 5,000 followers or a "god-like" status. You should read it. It's the best thing ever.
I don't really know what else to say. I've sat here for a half hour now just thinking. I'm just very moved by this. This doesn't really happen to me, and I'm just so happy that someone could find my works to be so wonderful. I know there are others... but still...
Like when bookplayer actually feigned interest in my first fic. It felt like I mattered. But she and I are like... pie now. Delicious, delicious pie. So that's another matter entirely.
Regards,
- Churchy

Wait. What.
Back up.
Back the heck up.
YOU'RE CHURCH?
...Wow.
~Skeeter The Lurker
1460226 Pull on the strings of your heart that open the bag and I'll stuff 'em all in. And it shall be nothing short of glory.
1460229 Sometimes I do the things with the stuff. You know.
1460239
Impressive.
Might I ask why the drastic change?
~Skeeter The Lurker
1460246 It is not so much that this is a drastic change really. In fact, my name is even "Churchy", a pet name of sorts given to me by KiaraKoru123. This is just a fresh start after being away from fimfic for so long. I just didn't feel like reviving Church.
It's still me, though.
And my part in "The Collection" is actually an excerpt of mine that I created when I was still Church.
Damn that fic is old.
1460251
Ah, ok.
Well... Honored to meet you.
~Skeeter The Lurker
1460257 Oh, no no, the pleasure is mine. I'm just some guy doin' some stuff. For science. And ponies.
1460264
Always fun!
~Skeeter The Lurker
Join the group! ... Never mind... You're all already in it... But I'm glad that I was able to please! That speech was pretty powerful... And so were your stories...
I sound like a complete stalker...
Wait,
ChurchChurchy, how did you find the group? Did you stumble upon it, or told by a friend?1462324 Twilight Sparkle and the Gift Before Hearthswarming Day
Someone posted in the comments about it. I actually commented on your blog post because you had favorited The Collection, and it was entirely coincidental that your name popped up in an old story of mine later on.
Plus, the only reason I looked at that story is because I got a notification that said it was added to a group of mine.
A lot of strange events occurred that day.
1462353 Hm. Sounds like it. What story did you find me in, again? I don't remember, and I'm a bit too lazy to look...
1462373 It's my only story! (as Churchy). It's called "The Collection", and you can find it just to your right if you're reading this blog post.
1462377 ... Woopsie. Sorry 'bout dat...
1462353 So, you and I were basically in weird cahoots without even realizing it or recognizing each other? That is really funny and really weird and really ignorant of both of us! This is so great...
1462430 That's basically it. I have a question myself: Where did you find my stories? As someone who has never posted a story outside of fimfic it astounds me to see where they might end up.
1462436 On FimFiction! I was looking at pony memes on my 3DS, when I saw a picture, saying "Miss Cheerilee should go buck herself". The URL was FimFiction, and I'd already been there, reading Cozmosus, RainbowBob, and a few others. I loved Comedy/Random stories, so I decided to read Miss Cheerilee Teaches Us How To, And How Not To, Write a Story. It was really good, and so I decided to read the rest of your stories. They. Were. BEAUTIFUL. I loved them all, especially A Package in the Rain. That one really struck me, even though I'd never heard of Raindrops before. And so I fell in love with Church. I actually used to think you were a girl when I first read your stories! Don't be offended when I say that they were just so heartfelt, I thought that a dude like me could NEVER pull something like that off. And the avatar really drove the point home. I even said "she" and "her" in the description of the group. When I found out that you weren't gone from FimFiction, and also found out that you were a guy, I kinda felt embarresed and changed the description to "he" and "him". I really had hoped that you didn't read the description too in-depth-ly... But that, my friend, is how I met Church. You know the rest.
1462483 Haha right! People definitely tell me I've got a different voice when it comes to writing. I'm not really offended that you thought I was a girl. I can see that. I definitely thought that my best friend on this site was a boy until she told me she was a girl.
Anyway, neat! Thanks for reading my stuff, more to come soon, no doubt!
1462549 I forgot to add that all of your Fluttershy stories prompted me to have her as my favorite pony. Until I found your stories, Applejack was my favorite. I also met a dude named Wragnaroq, and his Butterflies Continuity. That made me love Fluttershy more, too. Here's the thing though. No one's been on Wragnaroq's page in 3 months... And I'm starting to think that he's gone, too. But... Hey! Here's Church! I'm talking with him right now! If Church can return, maybe Wragnaroq can, too.
Sorry, that was just a spur-of-the-moment thought right there.
1462567 Fluttershy is def best pony. I've largely been considered being very good at writing her. But she's a difficult character, so it's an off and on relationship.
Can't say I've met Wragnaroq. I've heard of him, I think. There's a lot of people that have left this site, it's hard to tell anymore.
1462591 Yeah. I just, right now left a message on his page. Check it and his stats out... Here. His stories are good, and maybe you can try and work some of them in your own way. ... I'd love to see that.
