Cold in Gardez's Salvation introduced me to the pairing. Over time, I looked into it, and just slowly fell in love with it. There are a lot of similarities between the two beneath the surface, as well as a very enjoyable character dynamic. Seriously, having those two bounce off each other is too much fun as a writer. Also, it's adorable. That adds points too

I have written a couple of fics outside of ponydom that were, at one point, published online. However, younger me deleted them long before ponies came around.
In terms of original fiction, not much. I've written a couple of short stories I submitted to local writing contests, but neither did very well.

The epilogue was a let down, but those first 250,000 or so words were so gripping that I forgave it for that.
Come to think of it, nearly all the completed long stories I really enjoyed have rather disappointing endings
1453523 I actually don't really like how "Twilight focused" it got near the end period. She was a little too important by that point. I'd have liked to see some of that spread around. It did such a damn good job with including everyone in the beginning.
Anyway, yeah, long stories do that. I imagine there's all this amazing shit going around in the author's head and then he's like "well... fuck. What do I do now? I have to wrap this up just as awesome" and either they've gotten distracted by stuff, they're sick of it already, or the reader's expectations have been ramped so high that there is nothing that would satisfy them.
If there is no sign of the morning coming, and you've been left out on your own, would you consider yourself a RazedRainbow in the dark?

Salvation was the same for me (the first incarnation, the second one would have converted me in, ahem, seconds if I read it first). It's also the only clopfic I truly respect (I almost never read it, and the only other one I follow is Sleepless's Ponyville University). Dash and Rarity are the most ambitious and passionate of the six, and have the biggest egos. Who says they aren't a match?
Also, it's strange how Immortal Game got me into pony fics, but in hindsight it was heavily flawed (in my opinion, and it might be in large part due to personal taste), and I would never read it if it were published again under a different name. I have no idea why that is.

Yeah, Immortal Game is not without its flaws. I'm kind of nervous about rereading it because of that very reason. The few times I've reread favorites from the past... yeah, they don't shine as brightly the second time around.
Favorite episode. Heh, funny enough I'm rewatching a lot of the episodes right now because I'm planning on doing a countdown of my favorites leading up to the season premiere. Still, I'll give my favorites at the moment from each season.

I had my editor a.k.a. sister read a few bits from it. Aesthetic even said it himself; the fight scenes were incredibly weak. You're right; I didn't notice this (well, I was growing weary of them, but I attributed that to the length) until I reread it. I refuse to re-read Anthropology for this reason too, because I KNOW I'd be disappointed.
Is it a coincidence that two of those three episodes were about Scoots and Rarity? I need to rewatch episodes, I haven't seen an actual frame of the show in half a year.

Between mane six characters, probably Twilight and Rarity, mostly due to the small, purple, scaly elephant in the room. I can't really say how I'd go about shipping them. Knowing my history, I'd probably just strand them in the middle of nowhere and poke them until they kissed.
