Yesterday my DVDs I ordered from Amazon arrived. In Britain, we are now seeing a steady trickle of these, and hopefully more to come. I now have both 'Welcome to Ponyville' and 'Call of the Cutie'. Hopefully soon, we will start seeing season 2 and 3 over here, I need them to avoid the YouTube ban Hasbro has begun.
Also, I assume you have all seen the synopsis for the season 4 two part premiere on EQD. I must say, it looks bloody brilliant. While I don't like the idea of the Princesses in peril again, there is some good stuff. The Everfree Forest expanding outward. We may learn the origins of the Elements. There is most likely some form of time travel based on the Nightmare Moon spoiler we saw. Plus a 'mysterious enemy', could the Starswirl rumours be true?
I've also started drafting my first story for this site. 'My Family and Other Equestrians' sees our protagonist turned into their OC and thrown into Equestria as usual, but with their mother, father and younger sister along for the ride, as humans. I've got about 26,000 words so far, but I will not publish until after the start of season 4, in case of any new canon knowledge.
It is less than 1 month to go, soon this long hiatus will end. I look forward to season 4 as I'm sure you all do.
