Well, I'm one of the few bronies that hail from Singapore. Still, I'm here to put my writing skills to the test, so leave feedback if you enjoyed one of my stories! Peace out! ^^
Well, that was certainly fun. Over a month of no internet in the new apartment building I moved into, leaving me with only campus internet to work off, and seeing that uni assignments have been keeping me pretty busy, I haven't had much opportunity to check out what's been going on this site.
Yeah, I know, surprised me too. Here I am half-anticipating the moment when I realize that I've finally run out of steam for Equestrian Joe, and I actually manage to churn out another chapter.
This is it, guys. This is the turning point. I'm steadily starting to lose steam and passion in this fandom, mostly for the reason that there are other things occupying my attention, and there's not a lot of people with which I can discuss the progress of EqJ with, which makes planning and preparing future chapters rather hard when there's nobody to vet my writing and make sure that what I'm
SO the main reason why I haven't been writing anything for the Elements of Gaming lately was because I hadn't been getting any decent co-op experiences lately with any video games - that, and all my co-authors who happened to be my gaming buddies as well dropped out of the writing team, which leave solely me to hold up the entire thing by myself.
Hello Ryden and Xephfyre, or at least I think this is Ryden and Xephfyre from Fanfiction.net, you have the same MLP fanfics posted on your profiles. Anyway, going on the natural assumption that you, HellRyden, are in fact the same Ryden as I have previously spoken too, hello again, it's Souldin. Now I was originally going to simply leave a quick comment on the 'The Elements of Gaming', stating how nice it is to see the fanfic posted on Fimfiction as well make a quick comment on the skill of your writing and the unavoidable but key flaw to your story but then I popped on over to this here profile and noticed this here blog post.
I love Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and so immediately spotted the reference and as such, immediately began to read this short post. Asura's Wrath is in fact a game that I'm interested in acquiring though considering how there are no longer any game stores in the UK what with Game closing down this will probably take some time. In the mean time, without spoilers if possible, mind sharing your thoughts on the game and whether it is worth the purchase? Also are we likely to see a chapter of 'The Elements of Gaming' based on Asura's Wrath?
Nice to know you're on Fimfiction.net but for now, cheerio.
71780 Yep that's me, Ryden from Ryden & Xephfyre. Xephfyre's left the team due to real life catching up on his end, heh, so now it's just me, Krimzon_Flygon, and a new addition, Phil Argus. Argus is currently in the midst of producing a TF2 chapter, but it's still in the works right now, and it's quite a ways from being finished.
On another note, YES, I am getting inspiration for an Asura's Wrath chapter! Now, I just hope I'll be able to write it solo without Xeph's help, heh.
71780 On that note, I'll just say that Asura's Wrath is more of an interactive anime than a video game, but the art style, presentation, and visual content MORE than makes up for the lack of gameplay variety. And the Holy Shit Quotient is OFF THE CHARTS. Dunno if you would enjoy it, but personally I thought it was a hell of a ride and I totally enjoyed it.
Halo ODST
ODST had you dropping through the atmostphere, not fighting WHILE you were dropping through the atmosphere.
