Hello whoever chose to read this blog! It's me, Roxxi, but you already knew that, right?
Wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, but that's neither here nor there. I watched What!? Bronies today and I was blown away. I knew there was a Brony Con, but I had no idea how awesome it was. I was admittedly jealous of the Bronies that were recognized on sight and were sought after for autographs, like The Living Tombstone, and I couldn't help but think; Man, I wish I were cool like that. It's whatever though, I don't think I could handle fame, I'd get nervous and twitchy, and probably hysterically laugh, maybe even run away in terror.
Also, I recently received a few emails from members of my small fan base, man I love my fans, and a few of them had questions for me. I figured I might as well do my first Q&A.
Q: When you write, do you do anything special, like wear a certain shirt or sit in a certain room?
A: Yes, I like to write late at night/early in the morning between 11:30pm and 2:30am, usually with soda, or some other caffeinated drink, while listening to music. Typically it's pony inspired music, but I've listened to other venues of music as well.
Q: Who is your favorite character?
A: Ah, this question again. I don't have a single favorite character, but I can probably zero in on Discord, Vinyl Scratch, Luna, and a tie between Pinkie and Dash.
Q: What's that thing behind you?
A: That would be a wall, I like to sit in corners.
Q: I love your stories, make more.
A: That's not a question, but thank you, and I'll try.
Q: What's your favorite kind of story to write? Are there any you can't do?
A: I love comedy, easily my favorite, but I try to get serious once in a while. I can't write clops. Just can't, I can get suggestive, even do some raunchy fluffing, but I can't write clop. I've tried, believe me, and it sucked. Not even in a good way. See? Suggestive.
Q: How much pony merch do you have?
A: I assume you mean merchandise? Uh, actually, not a whole lot. I have a few posters, Gilda and Dash figurines, Dash sits on my laptop and Gilda stalks me from the bedside table, and a few 9-Card pages of the cards. I'm particularly fond of my Gold Foil Nightmare Moon. Also, my ipod has a good selection of pony music.
Q: What inspires you? Can you help me write?
A: Lots of things inspire me, music, falling down the stairs, dreams, particularly good meals, etc. I don't actually know how to help you write, I mean, I could try and proofread, but there are plenty of experienced proofreaders around fimfiction to try instead, but I'd be happy to give my honest opinion. Writing takes practice, but it should always be fun for you to do, that's the important thing.
